We come to the area every summer and this property was by far our favorite rental. Swimming, kayaking, and fishing on site so our child was never bored. Host is very responsive.
The pictures didn’t do it justice! Great house, beautiful property, and an amazing pool! Perfect for our family of 4 plus a fur baby. Everyone had a great time!

We are so glad you enjoyed our special place!
May be time to upgrade our photos, too!
Thank you.
Really enjoyed our stay. Property is beautiful. House was clean. Lots of games, kayaks, pool, etc. to keep the kids entertained. Had success crabbing off the docks. The screen room down by the water was perfect for our crab feast.
We had the most wonderful stay! The swimming pool was fantastic, the kitchen had all the supplies we needed, and we were even able to catch enough nice sized crabs for dinner. We really only left the house to go to Point Lookout and the produce stand down the road. Other than that, we swam, fished, kayaked, barbecued and so much more. Highly recommend booking a stay here!!
We very much enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing. The grounds of the house were amazing! Did some crabbing, fishing and swimming in the pool. Grilled out on grill. Highly recommend this place to stay, if your just wanting to get away and have some relaxation!

The owner was nice and responsive. The property was fairly described online the problem is that the immediate surroundings are quite sketchy and there is not much to do or see around. The garden and pool are the best part.

Hi Lily!
Most people come to kickback, swim, kayak and do what our property has to offer. I am sorry that you were disappointed. I would have pointed you to Solomon’s island about 30 minutes away where you can rent boats and there is a bit more of a town. I do hope that you were able to relax.

This is a great location - very private.
Our only complaint was that there were a lot of bugs in the pool, and we couldn’t find a skimmer. They have one of those automatic cleaners, but it didn’t seem to do the job completely.
The property was as advertised. Unfortunately, storms moved through and knocked out the AC the day we checked in, leaving us without any AC the first night. The homeowners did everything they could to fix it, but it was unable to be fixed that night. Opening the windows was not a great solution due to the condition of some of the screens. Happy to say the AC was fixed the next morning and the rest of our stay was pleasant. Communications with the homeowner over the issue was effective and promptly responded too. The pool and the backyard are very beautiful and tranquil. It was the perfect spot to spend a weekend while at the college for a swim meet. Even with the AC issue, would still recommend.

great location but...
The outside of this property was fantastic! Great location & views. However, we had some issues that made us decide to leave one day early. First thing I saw was a nasty microwave that I cleaned. The furniture was uncomfortable for us, both inside and out (beds were great). The remote to the tv was found under the couch... sorry we looked there! We did not understand how to work the tv. The homeowners were responsive until the last phone call that was not returned and we gave up. The pool filter was extremely loud and was troublesome at night. Needed a bandaid and the first aid kit was not properly stocked... no bandaids etc. Then there were the ants. I'm a country girl and am not freaked out by such things, but it was way too much for even me. When I woke up the day before we were suppose to leave and saw them all despite our best efforts, I knew I needed to go home. So, we packed up as fast as we could and left. We've never done that before. I love when there is a notebook of info about the property with all of the info you may need. They did not have one. We did not like the cameras which is the first thing u see when you drive up. I was not going to submit a review, but I revc'd notice the homeowner rated our stay and the only way to see it was to leave my own review. I did not complain before we left as I did not want a conflict in that moment as I was already upset.

We are so very sorry that your stay was a unpleasant. We take hosting very seriously and wish you would have called us so we could have tried to help. if you look at our reviews --mostly on another platform-- we routinely receive 5 stars.
Again, apologies.
The house is situated on a lovely section of the water and has expansive grounds and a great pool. We found our stay very relaxing. Just what we needed.
We had a great time at Point Lookout! The description of the property, and surrounding area was accurate. We enjoyed the pool, kayaking, crabbing, and exploring the nearby state park.
We enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean and our group of 6 had plenty of sitting space. The pool was where we spent the most of our time, and was very nice. Thanks for the opportunity.
