Property manager canceled on us. Y’all found us a hotel for one night second night I was supposed to get reimbursed but y’all haven’t reviewed it yet or answered me back on whether I am or not.

Reservation canceled when I was 1 hour away

We Never had a chance, we left Dallas around 12 pm and we had multiple stops due to my infant and kids . While we were 1 hour away, I messaged The property advisor named Enrique letting him know about our arrival and asked him what was the procedure on getting into the house when we got there. This was all through the app , he never responded or reached out to us in any form or fashion. 5 minutes later I received a email notification stating that our money was reimbursed and our reservation had been canceled. "" At that moment my heart fell and was in panic mode . Just knowing I had my 2 year old son and 6 month year old son, 9 year old daughter and 17 year old and wife and nowhere to go in a city we've never been. Devastated is a word I can truly use in this situation when I had to explain it to my family while driving in raining conditions. To see the heart break in their eyes at the moment was not how I wanted to picture our small mini vacation get away. Apon reading more information on why we were canceled in the email, this was the reason """"" Cancellation details Reason: Property is unavailable Message from host: We just found out A/C unit stopped working. Our tech ordered parts but will be here on Tuesday.""" Pretty unprofessional if you ask me , on the day of.... how did the Tech order parts before we were even advised of the problem? We had to settle for a guest house at 11 pm. Compensation is key factor that needs to addressed,

Overall it was a comfortable stay. The house was clean and the pool as well. No problem communicating with the property manager. Everything I needed was close by.

Very safe and convenient location to shopping and attractions. The pool area was a nice little relaxing hangout. Had cookware and spices. Needs baking dishes. Owner met us on arrival and was very responsive with answering any questions.

Not clean and poor communication.

From the photos, this home looks older but decent and the pool is the biggest selling point. Unfortunately, upon closer inspection, it becomes glaringly obvious that this home is simply not being cleaned well. There are several high-traffic areas such as door handles, faucets, etc that have very obviously not been cleaned or at the very least wiped down. The bathroom in the primary bedroom was covered in soap scum that very easily could have been remedied with some elbow grease prior to our check-in. The kitchen sink was also dirty and the dish rack next to the sink was just plain disgusting. I am sure it has never been cleaned. The worst part of my experience was that the bed in the room my kids chose had ants crawling in it. I took photos and video and notified the owner right away but he left my message on read and didn't respond until 20 hours later, completely diminishing my complaint, and simply stating that he didn't know anything about ants in the room and reminded me that check out was at 11 am. Upon check out, I text the owner as he requested in the binder and notified him of my other complaints as well as sent him photos as proof and he has ignored that message as well.
