Welcome to The Viewpoint Lodge, a custom built cabin with INCREDIBLE MOUNTAIN VIEWS of Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina!

Enjoy the mountains in style at the Viewpoint Lodge, a custom built cabin perfect for rest and relaxation located on 1.5 acres of secluded woods. The roads leading up to the cabin are either paved or gravel, making them easy to navigate. To get to the cabin, you can use just about any car, but one with AWD is best. There's plenty of parking for three cars at the Viewpoint Lodge.

The main entrance is up four stairs from the parking area, or you can keep going around the large wrap around deck to take in the breathtaking panorama.

When you first enter the cabin, you'll be astounded by the custom woodwork in the kitchen and living room.
The kitchen features custom made cabinetry, granite countertops, and stainless-steel appliances and is fully stocked.
In the living room there is a gas fireplace and a TV.
One of the three bedrooms and a shared bathroom are also located on this floor.

From the living room, head upstairs to the dedicated workspace and separate master bedroom with private bathroom.

You can also head downstairs from the living room where you will find the entertainment space, which includes a pool table, a seating area, queen sofa sleeper and a TV. On this floor, there is also a third bedroom and a bathroom. Another deck off the entertainment area offers access to a fireplace and even more breathtaking views.

Guests have access to the whole cabin except for the locked owners' closet.

Excellent customer service is something we take great pride in. Prior to check-in and check-out, we give very thorough instructions so that visitors may just unwind and take it easy while on vacation. We are excellent at providing prompt responses to questions and concerns. The process of checking in is very simple. A door code will be sent to you the day before check-in. There's no need to meet someone to get keys!

We have stayed at many properties in north Georgia, and this was one of our favorites. It was well appointed, cozy, clean, very private and the views are spectacular. We will definitely be back to this one.

Awesome views, beautiful cabin

We truly enjoyed our three days at the Hickory Hollow cabin. It was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfy, and we loved the fireplace on the back porch to watch the sunset. It was easy to get to, and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and the views amazing from three sides of the deck. We will go back.

Outstanding Stay in the North Georgia Mountains

My wife and I booked this home to celebrate her birthday. Needless to say, we had an excellent time. Check-in/Check-out was seamless. The home is extremely comfortable, well decorated and the views can’t be beat. The home is conveniently located to Downtown Blue Ridge and near by hiking trails. We will definitely book this property again.

An absolutely wonderful property with even more wonderful owners! Incredibly responsive and helpful every step of the way. Amazing views cozy cabin

This cabin is beautiful! We enjoyed our stay and Brock was extremely responsive and was happy to accommodate my family and fur baby. The views were amazing and everything we needed was available. The downstairs basement area was a great area for the kids to hang out and play games. We enjoyed beautiful views from the jacuzzi and made s’mores in the fire pit. I would love to come again! I highly recommend this cabin!

Fantastic views!

We really enjoyed our stay at your beautiful cabin. I loved the decor and the cabin was well stocked. As someone who has been traveling to Blue Ridge for years- this was one of our favorite cabins. We liked the remote feel of the cabin. Unfortunately it rained our entire trip. But luckily, we enjoyed fires on the covered porch and had much needed time for relaxation! Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer!

One of the nicest cabins we've ever stayed in!

This is an amazing cabin. The pictures don't do it justice -- especially the view. My parents were visiting, and it was the perfect size for the 5 of us (4 adults, 1 child, 1 dog). Loved the modern cabin design, the beautiful decor and comfortable furniture. The kitchen was very well stocked. The location was perfect -- not far at all from downtown Blue Ridge. And the outdoor fireplace was a really great feature. Excellent communication from the host (very responsive and accommodating). It's not easy to find beautiful cabins like this that are pet-friendly. We will definitely be coming back in the spring or summer!

Absolutely perfect!

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful property to celebrate my 33rd birthday. We are so glad we did and will definitely be coming back to this rental! The cabin felt brand new - with charming decor and lovely design touches. The wraparound deck was spectacular to take in the breathtaking views. We especially loved the outdoor fire place, which was set up with wood to make it easy for us to start a fire. Our only mistake was we didn’t stay long enough! We only booked one night and ended up trying to stay longer because we were so comfortable. Unfortunately the cabin was booked so we didn’t get to extend our stay but we look forward to coming back! Brock and his wife were incredibly quick to communicate and the entire process was seamless. We highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to unwind in a very nice space with gorgeous views of the mountains!

Magnificent Mountain Views

That wrap around main deck was nothing short of a dream. My goodness! I’ve stayed all throughout Blue Ridge and the views at Viewpoint Lodge are among some of the best I’ve experienced. The roads are mostly paved except for the final road to the cabin, not as steep as I thought it would be and it’s not toooo bad of a drive at all. Cabin looks like something off a postcard and only gets better once you see that view. We don’t have children but it’s certainly kid friendly if you’re bringing littles. We did bring our dog with us and she loved sunbathing on the deck… We mostly just stayed put and enjoyed the views from the deck and main floor which is updated and modern. I’d stay inside after dark… The kitchen is fully equipped but there’s restaurants about 20 min away - we found Black Sheep for brunch and it was phenomenal. Also, Ott Farms & Vineyard is a must. Brock was extremely responsive and communicative, should you have any issues he’s quick to respond.

AMAZING VIEWS - Beautiful High End Home - Amazing Service!

Before booking the house I contacted Brock with some questions - he responded within minutes, and every message was returned quickly and professionally. All communications throughout couldn't be faulted by this owner! We received all communications needed prior to our arrival - everything was seamless and smooth. The House and View - WOW! As we drove to the house and stopped we already knew we'd come to the rihgt place, as the view hits you already just from the side. We didn't even get in the door before taking a few moments to walk on the deck and take in the breathtaking sunset views. We came into the house and everything looked amazing, just like the listing photos showed. I have to say, we have stayed in many VRBO rentals over the years, and by far this home is the most beautifully and tastefully furnished. The furniture and decor were done right. We've stayed in log homes before, but many are a little cheesy with the decor - a bit too cutesie, but this home was tastefully done - a nod to the cabin vibe, but more like something you'd see done by Chip & Joanna Gaines. It really felt like home. Pretty much had all we needed to cook and prepare meals. Applicances were modern and functioned perfectly. Back to THE VIEWS!!! Not only are the views almost completely180 degrees (Which is rare), but the view faces west, so you get to see the sunsets every night - the colors were different every day, during the morning, daytime and afternoon! The mountains change hues with the light -never quite the same look twice. We enjoyed the birds singing, the wind in the trees, and on a couple days we heard leaves crunching and saw some deer wandering the woods above and below the house. Overall - this was definitely worth every penny for our special getaway (We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary) - the house of course, but it's location was secluded, yet close enough to the main road, and within easy reach of Blue Ridge - which we enjoyed for eating out, getting groceries, shopping, and the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. The house is also within an hour's drive of MANY state parks, highest point in Georgia (Brasstown Bald) and Amicalola Falls State Park (highest cascading waterfall east of the Mississippi River). This is such a beautiful area with as much or little as you want to do. If and when we return to the area we will without a doubt choose this home again! The Perfect Mountain Retreat

This truly is a special mountain retreat. The location is great for quick trips into Blue Ridge, McCaysville and Murphy, NC. The view is amazing...you can see three states and the scenery is always changing. The house itself is expertly appointed. Three beautifully decorated bedrooms and three well stocked bathrooms were more than plenty for the 5 of us. The kitchen had all of the appliances, pans, knives, can openers, etc. to allow us to prepare 3 complete meals each day. The owner, Brock, was incredibly communicative, responsive and accommodating. We received a detailed email before arriving with instructions for checking in; with details on what supplies would be there up arrival; and with the wifi code and login. I must say, that was a pleasant surprise. No flipping through a notebook looking for these details. If you are looking to have a totally relaxing getaway, this is definitely your best choice!

Gorgeous Cabin and Spectacular Views!

This was without question a five-star stay! The clincher for booking this cabin for us was not only the incredible panoramic views you could experience outside on the deck but the views you could experience from inside as well with those huge windows and we were not disappointed! The views from sun up to sun down were so spectacular I could not stop taking pictures. Upon our arrival I was concerned the cabin was going to be cold and dark since we were arriving later than we anticipated. We were very pleasantly surprised when we pulled up, however, that the cabin was lit up for us. And as we entered it was warm and inviting with a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, which was a nice surprise since we stayed there the weekend before Thanksgiving. We felt welcomed and it made our arrival very special. This place was absolutely gorgeous and immaculate! Every single room was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. You can tell the owners put a lot of love and attention to detail into this place. Our first morning there, I was out on the deck enjoying the view and my coffee when I heard the crackling of leaves moving in the woods. I was so excited to see it was a family of deer slowly making their way across the property eating as they went. We stayed here with our three grown children in their twenties and their girlfriends and they all had a blast shooting pool and playing games together. They loved the cabin! Our last day we all went hiking at Linville Falls, but made it a point to return to the cabin in time to see the sunset. It was breathtaking! If you've got your search narrowed to a few cabins like we had and are not sure which one to select, all I can say is for us, this place was worth every penny!
