This iconic, award-winning home is literally in the ocean at the well known and awesome Tiki's Surf
Break! When the surf is up, there will be surfers and body boarders showing up to ride. NOTE no air conditioning!
Thrilling entertainment happening right in your own ocean backyard. And, that is just the view!
Note! There is only parking for one car at the property

There are so many simple little pleasures that you experience in this getaway that create such a magical experience.
It's always such a delight to come out in the morning with your cup of coffee / tea and watch the
sun's warm rays pierce the crystal blue waters. It is also quite common to see lots of colorful fish swimming around in the water.
If you really pay attention, from time to time you can even see dolphins playing in the distance.
Last but not least, all day long and as you go to sleep you get to enjoy the calming sound of the waves.

As you enter the home, you will find the living room, dining and kitchen area.
There are multiple sliding doors which access the first floor wrap around lanai.
Looking out the window you feel like you're right in the ocean.

The first flight of stairs leads to the second floor which consists of three ocean view guest bedrooms,
two bathrooms and the laundry facility. Once again, all of the bedrooms are connected with a wrap around lanai.

The last flight of stairs leads to the top floor exclusive Master Suite. It is completely private, beautifully
furnished, spacious, light and surrounded by the ocean. The lovely ensuite bath keeps with the design
and offers continued seclusion. Whether this a romantic getaway or a family retreat, it is there to be enjoyed.
The master suite is surrounded by a bigger wrap around lanai accommodates a large dining table for an unforgettable
dining experience!

This is a very special home and place, which is very sentimental. There have been many very fond memories made
here and the owners have given us the opportunity to make some of our own. This place is meant to be enjoyed but also
cherished. Come and make your stay unforgettable.

Really cool location

You couldn’t ask for a better location than this. Right on the water and convenient to restaurants and shopping in Kailua-Kona. We were also very pleased with the host’s fast communication.

Great location, beautiful sunsets, enjoyed watching the fish off the lanai every morning. We walked into town for dinners and to shop and quickly accessed all the major roads to get us most anywhere. Things to keep in mind- with no AC it does get very warm in the summer months. The ocean is very close with waves crashing, so it does get loud. Despite those two things we really enjoyed our stay.

Overall a great place to stay and cheaper than multiple hotel rooms.Only two minor complaints:Parking is tight but manageable so long as you only have 1 vehicle.Waves can be loud. Great to sleep to, but a bit loud when sitting around the table playing cards. ;)

We had our family of 7 stay for 12 days, The location is fantastic! The ocean is just right out your door. The views amazing. The house has everything you need. Igor our host was awesome. He was very helpful and quick in correspondence. The lack of air conditioning was something that we wished would have been different otherwise we really enjoyed this house.

Fantastic location!

This location and house was more than we could ever dream! The rooms each had a beach view. The street was busy, but it wasn't awful. We did a full thanksgiving dinner and it was amazing. The waves crashing through the day and night were majestic. We loved it so much.

Great place in the water.

If you love the sound of crashing waves, amazing sunsets and spacious surroundings this is a great place. Downtown is a short walk away with some great bars, restaurants and shops. Only thing missing would be air conditioning. It can get pretty warm in the house.

Best Christmas Ever!!

This home is magical! We brought our entire family here for Christmas and had a most wonderful time. The adults could watch the sunset on the upper lanai while the grandboys frolicked in the master tub. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and baking. I hope we have the chance to stay here again.

This house isn’t fancy but you can’t beat the location. It was clean and communication was super easy. The master suite is phenomenal. Not a ton of space to hang out but you probably won’t be home much anyway. Easy walk to beaches and town. The waves crashing at night were amazing! Incredible view!

Wonderful views

We all enjoyed our stay. We could see the most beautiful sunsets from all of the rooms and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The kitchen is well equipped and the house is comfortable with some interesting design features. If you’re tall beware of low doorways on some rooms. We were easily able to walk along the road to get dinner or to a small beach 5 mins away. I recommend this rental for a relaxing stay. Check in was easy and straightforward.

Definitely an oceanside location

This VRBO was clean and everything listed was accurate. Icemaker did not work and was never fixed contrary to promises that it would be fixed; Staff did bring by ice trays. It is off a busy road and the crashing waves are loud, and wonderful.

Amazing house! Ocean view from every bedroom and the entire downstairs living area. The house was spotless. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Convenient location - not in the crowded part of town, but close to all the stores, restaurants, and activities. Igor was responsive and helpful. Check-in instructions made access to the property a breeze. Do not pass this place up!

Perfect Ironman base

We came for the Ironman race in October. The house provided the perfect venue as it is a mile and a half south of the pier which allowed us to walk into town when necessary, but also to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the expo the house is also situated on the Run course, providing easy spectating. The house itself is beautiful and roomy!! There was plenty of room for seven adults to enjoy the incredible views from each lanai. Being situated right on the water, allowed us to fall asleep, and wake to the sound of the ocean waves… Doesn’t get any better than that.!!

Amazing Views

Every night we were treated to a spectacular sunset from the wrap-around lanai on every level! The master suite on the 3rd floor was humongous, and the other 3 rooms were big enough for each couple, luggage, and gifts! We stayed in July and the no AC warning is there for a reason, but there are (extra) fans for every room. We did have a small issue with excessive gnat flies due to needing to use the screen doors for air flow, but they were harmless. We had everything we needed for kitchen use- pots, pans, dishes, soap, etc. There is some shopping about a mile walk in either direction which was really nice and it is a quick drive to the "downtown" area. There are a couple of beaches close by (our young teens really enjoyed Magic Sands Beach) and there were Tommy Bahama chairs and beach towels for our use. This is an amazing place for a family or group of people to stay and really enjoy the Kona area!

You can see forever……

If you love the sound of surf and unobstructed ocean views, this house is for you. Older home, well equipped rental with basic amenities. Property manager responded immediately for few issues that came up (stuck shower door, location of fuse box) and was very helpful throughout our stay. Great customer service! Comfortable beds with each room having ocean view. Bathrooms on second floor are older but perfectly fine. Some reviews mentioned the street noise (home is on a main road) however, the bedrooms and main living area are on the ocean side of the home. Street noise wasn’t an issue for us at all. The waves crash against the rocks below the home and are impressive! We loved hearing the ocean. Small beach is within walking distance and it is about a 15 minute walk into town. Fabulous snorkeling about 3 miles away and grocery stores about a 10 minute drive. Neighborhood was safe.. Beach towels and chairs were available to us for use. The best thing is you are literally on the rocks with nothing in front of you but the ocean.

Very nice. Enjoyed watching the blue ocean, the beautiful moon and its reflection on the waves, the sunset, dolphins jumping, so on. The location is close to the shopping and beaches. Only drawback is the sound of waves crushing on the rocks is a bit too loud.

When they say Ocean Front they really mean ocean front

We had a wonderful time. The sunsets were spectacular and the upstairs mbr was a magnificent place to just relax. It took a while to get used to the Surf and since we were there doing the aftermath of a hurricane the surf got pretty intense one and was hitting the bottom of the house pretty consistently. After a while you get used to the roar. Very exciting place to be. Loved watching the surfers

Awesome home in kona

The house was very nice and it’s location was perfect for us. It did NOT have air conditioning:; which was a surprise.. Looking at the listing now it does not say anything about air conditioning; so we did not think to ask. There are ceiling fans in the rooms; but especially in the master it was warm as the fan was stuck on low. There was some breeze from the ocean and keeping the blinds pulled down during the day and the ceiling fans on helped; but an air conditioner would have made the house so much better. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. Overall it was an enjoyable stay. The management was great. Thank you
