Stunning house in a spectacular location!

This light-drenched, livable house with beautiful views and open floor plan provided the perfect holiday getaway for our family. It was easy to gather in the well-equipped kitchen for meals or snacks, but also to find a quiet corner to work or read. The entire house is very comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, including all three bedrooms and the highly functional office space. Throw open the family room/kitchen doors on warm afternoons to let in the breeze and enjoy a glass of wine on the spacious, wrap-around deck while the sun goes down. The hot tub got good use on starry nights. Walk to downtown Mill Valley in minutes for shopping or restaurants; Whole Foods and Safeway are a short drive away. Hosts Candace and Ben did a super job of making us feel welcome and at home. You won’t be disappointed!

Hi, We're Candace and Ben. Married since 2014. Ben works in software sales while Candace is a nutritionist.

We are an adventurous couple and love to travel and spend time outdoors - hiking, kayaking, cross-country skiing, horseback riding, canyoning, you name it! We also love getting lost in new cities, trying new restaurants, wine tasting, and experiencing other cultures and traditions.

Why they chose this property

We moved to Mill Valley from San Francisco, as we were finding we loved spending most (or all) of our free time enjoying the beauty of Marin. Mill Valley has such a charming downtown and is so close to SF, wine country, beaches and hiking.

We were immediately wowed by this home, with it's ample natural light, luxury treehouse vibes, breathtaking views, and amazing location. Candace loves to cook and this kitchen had everything she needed and more. The kitchen opens to the deck where you can open a sliding glass door for the ultimate indoor/outdoor cooking and dining experience.

We walk to downtown Mill Valley almost every day of the week for coffee or to run errands. Just behind the house, you'll find beautiful redwood hiking trails. For us, the location couldn't be beat!
