Elegant & Comfortable

This home is large and comfortable with all the amenities you could ask for. It's not just a house but a vacation experience. While it's a unique community, it also felt very easy and welcoming. I will be back.

Magical stay in a most beautiful houseboat

This must be one of the most gorgeous houseboats in Sausalito. Loved everything about the experience - great communication, wonderful location, beautiful space, lovely decor, everything needed for a home away from home. Not to mention the luminous rooms & sun decks, superb sunrise views, spectacular sunsets, AND moon & stars through the skylight over the master bed. Magic! Thank you such a wonderful month.

Immaculate, Comfortable & Quiet

This is our second stay at this home. It was already great, but since then there have been several upgrades to make the space even more modern and comfortable. Somehow the owner managed to make the house unique but also feel like home. The floating home has more amenities than I'm even used to, and all questions I had were answered swiftly and professionally.

Joe and I love the Sausalito Floating Home community for the natural beauty and the sense of friendly community. You can choose to enjoy the boats, boards, kayaks, and other toys or, quietly enjoy your holiday as a romantic getaway. The RMS Sage has "front seat" viewing of the the float - in free music concerts on our own lagoon. Or walk into town where there are plenty of art galleries, great upscale and basic restaurants, music spots, fresh bakeries, and a few choice dive bars.

Why they chose this property

Sausalito floating home community is a historical paradise and a particularly friendly environment amidst a peaceful and beautiful water neighborhood. The RMS Sage is a stunning, fully updated, and wonderfully located floating home located on the primary lagoon, in deep water. It is the only floating home with full three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Located adjacent to Jennifer Garner's floating home used as the set for "The Last Thing He Told Me," a stay on the RMS Sage is a very special floating wonderland.

What makes this property unique

Large and lovely houseboat in the historic Sausalito Floating Home community. "Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay," was written by Otis Redding about these docks.
