There is a beautiful downtown with shops, which invite you to stroll and browse, as well as supermarkets, a variety of restaurants, the Moor spa with sauna and brine thermal baths. Furthermore, it should be mentioned the historic castle. Also, the Beer Ster lake with its circular route is highly recommended for an active holiday with dog.

In Dorum Neufeld about 25 km away, there is a dog beach where at low tide long walks - without a leash - can be made in the Wadden - for humans and dogs always a great experience!
Cuxhaven is about 40 km away, Bremerhaven about 25 km.
