Take a trip to Zingst (10 km), which, in addition to its captain's houses, harbor and pier, also has an experimentarium, swimming pool, miniature golf course and pony rides. The artists' village of Ahrenshoop (17 km), which is home to several galleries and exhibition houses with modern and classical art, is also worth a detour.
