Hummingbird Haus is our guest home in the heart of the hill country on 20 acres of private land with beautiful views. Enjoy the front yard with a fire pit and benches, and lovely view.

We are 5 minutes to kayaking/tubing the Guadalupe, and 25 minutes to New Branufels or Boerne. 8 minutes to downtown Bulverde. The wine country in Fredericksburg is 45 minutes away, as is downtown San Antonio. 5 minutes to many restaurants, Wal Mart and H‑E‑B Grocery.

Beautiful view from the front porch, high ceilings let in tons of natural light. Full kitchen with butcher block countertops. A large L shaped sofa in the living area. California King Tempurpedic bed in the bedroom! Full bathroom. This is the perfect getaway for a small family!

We live next door (75 feet away), but you'll have plenty of space to yourself.

Pet fee is $100 flat. You assume responsibility for your pets while here.

We utilize a rainwater system. It tastes amazing. Please help us conserve.

Please bring fire starter & firewood for the fire pit and charcoal if you use the grill.
Remember the owners live on the property.

There is a flat $100 pet fee. Max 2 pets.

If you use it, take care of it. If you break it, fix it. If you make a mess, clean it up. If you move it, put it back.

We have a separate venue for events on the property and require a separate contract/payment. Starting at $100/hr minimum 4 hours.

Please ensure you understand the following about the hot tub:
1. If hot tub cover is left off (overnight or for an extended period) the temperature drops dramatically. If hot tub cannot reach 104 by the time the next guest checks in you will be charged a $250 fine.
2. No glass/food/lotions in the hot tub.
3. Add 1 scoop of chemicals after use.

Great visit to the Hill Country

The trip was supposed to be my wife and I, but our college sophomore ended up being at home, sick. So it turned into just me, traveling for work. I had meetings ~ 20 minutes away both days. The property is amazing. The hosts are fantastic. I greatly enjoyed grilling the first night, and the view at night is stunning compared to what I get in Houston. Thousands of stars, just wonderful. My wife and I will be back later this year with the rest of the family - really looking forward to our next visit. The hosts are amazing - super nice and very easy to work with - communication was great, zero surprises, very engaged. A very reasonable check in and check out process. We wish Luke and Michelle all the best, and we greatly look forward to our next visit.

Romantic weekend

Me and my husband stayed here for a friends wedding that was nearby. The property is amazing! It was a little too chilly to enjoy the amazing swimming hole. It was crystal clear and looked like fun with a waterfall and rope swing! But we did get to enjoy the hot tub, which was private and super relaxing. The views from the porch are amazing at sunset. Two cute friendly kittens said hello, along with some friendly cows. The tv had full streaming access, and the cabin had everything we needed. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back during swimming weather

Hi! We're Luke and Michelle. We have 3 kids age 5 and under (!) and a handful of chickens. You may hear us outside :) We love going on family walks and being outdoors.

We are both University of Texas alums (and we love our Aggie friends too!) and own a land prep business (Bird Haus Land Services).

We are both from small towns in Texas and have lived in the Bulverde/Spring Branch area for the past 7 years. We love it here! We hope you enjoy the beautiful hill country as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We are only about a mile north of the hwy 281/46 intersection, just a few minutes from Wal Mart and HEB. This is hill country living with all the conveniences of modern life. We have the best views in the area!
