About this property

Adorable Beach Cottage on beautiful 2nd Street in Gulfport 1 Block to Beach

Enjoy coastal breezes on the front porch just one block from the beach! The house is located on one of the most beautiful streets in Gulfport and a gorgeous comfortable space to relax and unwind. There is a porch, yard and an enormous oak tree.
The house is just a 3-5 minute drive to down town Gulfport, the Aquarium and Jones Park. A 10 minute drive straight down Hwy 90 will take you to the Biloxi Colosseum and the Casino's just past that.

This a 3 bed 2 bath home at 1515 square feet. The master bedroom has a king bed with a bathroom attached. The 2 guest bedrooms each have king beds. One has a bathroom attached to the room, the other accesses the same bathroom from the hallway.

There is a large open kitchen with a gas range. We have provided quality cookware and cutlery for guest who wish to cook.

TV's are in each bedroom and the living room. They are all smart TV's with access to Sling TV and any other apps you may have access to log into during your stay.

There is a front porch with a swing along with a quiet area for enjoying the breeze and lovely scenery. There is a guest house in the back that is a separate unit that also has outdoor seating.

Parking:
Guests of the main house should park on the street in front of the house if there is someone staying in the guest house so there is not a blocked driveway. The street is very wide and extremely easy for street parking and an easy walk to the front door where the code must be entered to go inside.

Wonderful Home

We came in town for a softball tournament and home was perfect. It was just adults as the kids had to stay with the team at another place. The beds are super comfy and house is very welcoming. There is a swing on the front porch that was perfect for enjoying the weather and socializing. We will definitely stay again in the future.

We have lived on the MS gulf coast for 13 years now and have loved being here. It has been a wonderful area with multiple towns that provide lots of great food and entertainment. We have enjoyed being able to provide memorable experiences to our guest.

Why they chose this property

2nd Street is a very highly sought after area in Gulfport. It has many beautiful oaks and is one block from the beach and close to downtown. There are historic homes along the street that have been renovated and many new construction homes in the area. It is a very quiet street where you'll see many retirees walking their dogs or going for a walk/jog when the weather allows.

What makes this property unique

Our renovated home was built in 1920 but has undergone changes through the years. It was completely renovated after Katrina and has been renovated more recently by us with new paint and lovely furnishings and artwork so the home feels much much newer but with so much old world charm. We love that our home feels like a special place to guests to unwind and reset. We love hearing from our guests who tell us about the great memories made there. We love being able to offer this experience to others.
