The tiny Crappies Cottage is exactly that.....tiny. But this little cottage has everything you could possible need for your stay. Lori has thought of it all and if you do need anything, just ask. The cottage is very comfy and spotless.

It was perfect for a fishing getaway. Plenty of parking for the truck and boat (covered parking for the boat) and all of the essentials. Lori and Bob were great. Helpful when needed without being intrusive. Will definitely be looking for this on my next trip to Okeechobie

Our stay at the “Crappie Cottage” was amazing! The host had items there for us so we didn’t have to go buy a bunch more from the store. For example: women’s products, fishing tackle, charging cables, etc. The cottage was perfect for my husband and I. We can’t wait to plan our next trip!

Very pleasant, yet needy guest. Certainly took advantage of our amenities! The TV and Internet worked perfectly. Guest unhappy we didn't have a sports package. The lilies were sparse. Even provided weed less worms. Husband was a dear!

Because of THIS guest, we now add a non-refundable damage fee. I confronted the guest via text after they checked out because they damaged our bathroom wall severely. We have a "graffiti wall" where guests add stuckers and she tore off all that were "Republucan". I found evidence in their trash. I would never rent to this couple again. We are 5 star Superhosts on another platform because we earned it. Won't allow inconsiderate guests ruin that for us.

Crappie Cottage (crappie (aka Speckled Perch) is the dominant fish in our waters) is priced right for a fully furnished cottage and offers privacy, parking and much more than the "competition". We guarantee you'll give our property a 5-star rating and book it again in advance. It's only 280 sq ft but for 2 people it's perfect. I'll answer any questions you have and ensure that your stay is a memorable experience!

What makes this property unique

We provide the pellets/seed to feed our backyard wildlife. Meet Wesley (our daily visiting Blue Heron), Walter (our nosey Ibis), Rookie & Cookie (Coots/ducks) and Sam (oh he's fun to watch) comes out from under the water with his long neck and swallows fish in a snap. Turtles galore. Gators? I've only seen one this year cruising by...puny at only 5 feet long. We're open to taking you on a cruise around the canals and rim in our 21 ft Pontoon Boat. Depends on how long your stay is and if we're available too!
