The home is locatedin the centerof the Located in the center of the village of Port Hood. It is walking distance to beaches, restaurants, tavern, grocery store, playground, festival grounds, churches, & ballfield, This house has a new farmers porch and a large wrap around deck in the back, large open kitchen, one bedroom with a queen bed off the kitchen & 1/2 bath, a spacious dinning room and living room on the first floor. The second floor has three bedrooms and one full bath with a new washer and dryer. Two bedrooms have a queen size bed, one has one full size bed along with a bunk bed and a futon bed in it. The bedrooms have individual A/C and the dining room has a large A/C. Extra feature in kitchen: small deep freezer.

This house is owned has been owned by a local resident who has moved away but is constantly drawn back to the beauty of the village and Cape Breton. Over the last twenty years it has been thoroughly renovated to make it a lovely home away from home.
Why they chose this property
We purchased this house as our home away from home. This house has wonderfully served our needs for over twenty years visiting family and spending extended stays in the summers allowing us to enjoy all of what this beachside village offers.
What makes this property unique
Located in center of a quaint fishing village on Cape Breton Island. Beautiful views. Seven minute walk to beach, two new large decks, large kitchen, clean & comfortable, recent renovations, great staging point for tourists, golfing at Cabot Links & Cabot Cliffs, 5 beaches, boardwalks, boating, camping, restaurants. Grocery store within walking distance. One local restaurant and more located within 35 minute drive.
