About this property

Well maintained 1860s farmhouse with old world charm, large rooms, original wide-plank flooring, high ceilings, all bedrooms have private bathrooms and individual thermostats. This house is conveniently located between Belleayre & Plattekill Mountains, Belleayre Beach. Easy access to and from all with off-street parking. Under 2 miles to Roxbury Barn Estates, 3 miles to Stone Tavern Farm, 5 miles to Inn at West Settlement (popular wedding venues). This house has two fireplaces; one in Living Room, one in Bedroom #1.
Both fireplace chimneys are blocked off. No fires in fireplaces. Barn is offered to house guests only during the following months May till September. Barn does not have heat.
Access to barn, gazebos, 5 acres. House sleeps 10 in 5 queen-size beds, in 5 bedrooms, with 5 private bathrooms. Four bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. One bedroom with private bathroom main floor.

Spacious Comfort in Roxbury

A very comfortable 1850s farmhouse with ensuite bathrooms for each bedroom, making it perfect for large groups. The hosts were very communicative and responsive to our questions. Our group of friends, a collection of couples, found it very comfortable. It's an old house, and it wasn't fully rehabbed; some doors don't latch properly or clear easily, for example. If things like that bother you, be forewarned. There was nothing that couldn't be addressed easily. We would totally stay again if we were going to be in the area.
