About this property

Cozy Cabin in the heart of Torrey

Come visit this cute small town we call home. We are located in the heart of Torrey, located a block away from the Chuckwagon General Store as well as shopping at the locally family owned Torrey Trading Post.

Our cabin “The Roost” is a two bedroom one bathroom, full kitchen fully furnished piece of heaven. It currently sleeps up to four guest. Come sit back and relax on one of the two patios on site with beautiful views of Boulder and Cockscomb. We are a five minute drive away from the Velvets as well as a 10 minute drive from Capitol Reef National Park. If you’re interest include hiking, fishing, four wheeling side-by-side riding or just relaxing and enjoying the scenery there are many places such as Cathedral Valley, Hickman Bridge, Burr Trail, and Fish Lake.

No smoking or vaping of any kind in cabin. There can be a $300 fine charged if house rules are broken.
No Pets on furniture or beds: up to a $350 fine along with any cleaning or damage, fees will be charged if house rules is broken.
Please do not try to adjust, move or hook up any items or devices to the TVs provided. Early check-in without approval will be charged a $50 fee

My husband, sister and I had perfectly lovely stay. Kitchen was fully equipped, and bedrooms were great with TV in each. Great room open to kitchen was comfortable and a great place for conversations. The view from the back of the house is incredible!

Close to everything Capitol Reef has to offer

Wonderful vacation rental, snap it up if you can. Very comfortable and pleasing all around. Great views and nice to sit outside. Very close to town restaurants and the national park.

Perfect Cabin

The cabin was very clean and wonderfully furnished. Communications with the owner was easy and prompt. The outside area was also very relaxing. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Everything was great. The home and all the amenities worked great. We had a cancellation from the place we were going to stay so we had to scramble and find another one and this was a much better place we believe. Will highly recommend this place to anyone that I know is coming to the area to stay.

Totally Terrific in Torrey

The cozy cabin is the sweet spot in Torry. So close to Capitol Reef with its magnificent landscape. The cabin is extremely well appointed, the property is lovely and the beds are comfy. Rent it and see for yourself!

This house is exceptionally clean with amazing views from all directions! The host was fantastic with communication as well. A great spot for either the Grand Staircase area or Capitol Reef. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Gateway to Capitol Reef

This casita was the perfect location to stay while we visited Capitol Reef. The house has charming decor, the beds were comfortable, and the host provided many extras, such as spices, tea, and coffee. The house is on the edge town, with great views of the Utah landscape. We loved our stay in the casita.

Wonderful guest house

My family had a wonderful 6 night stay at this guest house. It is conveniently located close to Capitol Reef. The beds and bedrooms were super comfortable. Nichole was a thoughtful and accommodating host. Lots of nice touches around the guest house. It was too cold to sit outside during our stay, but it would have been beautiful to hang out outside and take in the views in warmer weather. We would stay here again!

Better than Perfect

We absolutely loved staying here! The home was the perfect size for us, beautifully decorated, SPOTLESS, and completely QUIET. We thought we were the only people around most of the time…and we really appreciated that. We hope to be back to the Capitol Reef area in a few years, and if we don’t already have our camper…we’ll be booking here again without hesitation! Thank you for making our stay better than perfect!
