Storybook Stone Cottage, Short Walk to Resort, Hot Tub, Fireplace

Come fall in love with our charming Storybook Stone Cottage. Crazy in love. Tucked beneath huge pines and built right on a mountain stream so close, you'll swear it's running through the living room. Just off the main deck, take the bridge over the stream to the hot tub and the “Bird House”, a tiny stone house with a second-story sleeping loft. (Guests old and young have been known to fight for the bed. Only drawback is that there isn't a bathroom).

The main cottage is a perfect retreat for 2, but can easily accommodate 4. Two small bedrooms on the main level with the small bathroom in between. The loft with a full bed has curtains that close off for more privacy. The kitchen is a gourmet cook's delight with a Wolf range and a Sub Zero fridge. There is a small leaf table in the kitchen perfect for two and can be opened and pulled away from the wall to fit 4. Warm your toes on the radiant heated stone floors throughout, build a fire in the stone fireplace and soak in the stream-side hot tub. At the end of your day, sink into the comfy beds and luxurious linens that guests rave about. Enjoy sleeping on the soundtrack of the babbling mountain stream that you can hear from every part of the cottage.

You'll love our private park, "The Hollow", with an outdoor fireplace and Zip Line swing. With our full concierge services we can arrange for a day of fly fishing with our favorite guides, recommend a variety of local day trips and/or hikes, or arrange a massage in your home. Sisters Trip

My sister and I had a wonderful stay in this adorable cottage. It is truly out of a storybook, so no wonder its name. Everything was great. We loved spending time there, and the hot tub was used a lot!

Charming cottage

This cozy cottage creates the most serene setting for a relaxing stay. The house has all you need and the outdoor deck is truly an oasis to birdwatch and listen to the rushing stream.

Darling place!

Loved the kitchen, fireplace, cozy feel, and gorgeous outdoor scenery and amenities. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub! Internet was spotty occasionally, but that’s not why you go to the mountains!

Storybook cottage

This is a lovely, well maintained cottage, with an excellent management company. If you cannot sleep here with sound of a rushing creek and smell of a fire, you will not be able to sleep anywhere.

Beautiful Get-Away

This cottage was very cozy & cute, The kitchen was wonderfully appointed & the patio, hot tub & constant, soothing sound of the adjacent stream was heavenly. The cottage got a bit warm during our late July stay, but the property manager brought us a fan & all was well.

Quiet and cozy cottage

The cottage was the perfect quiet escape that I needed. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that I needed to cook with. The bed was nice and cozy. I loved watching the birds come and eat from the feeders in the morning. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an adorable cottage in a beautiful area.

Cozy as Ever!

If you want a quiet and charming getaway, this is your cabin! Our little family of 3 loved our stay at Storybrook Stone cottage. The hot tub was great, even when surrounded by 4’ of snow! Despite its size, this little home includes everything that you need and with the Sundance Resort only 3 min down the road offering great restaurant options, you’re all set. Thanks to our hosts for a lovely experience!

Birthday weekend

Our second stay at the Storybook Stone Cottage was perfect. Expected to hike and explore, but couldn't pull ourselves away from the deck. Sat under the heater for breakfast, and watched the squirrels and birds all morning. A complete escape.

The pictures are beautiful, but it's twice as cute in person.

Just a beautiful, storybook explained. We joked that we'd wake up every day at turkey o'clock, because a flock of wild turkey would come but and entertain us every morning. Loved it!

The greatest attention has been given to every detail--linens, lighting, kitchen supplies, books, decor, landscape, candles, etc. Everything we could have possibly needed was available. LOVED the heated floors on cooler days, and didn't want to leave.

Magical place

We really enjoy our stay. Super cute place, fun loft with tons of books and toys for my 7-year old to play with. The beds are small, but there’s enough beds for 3 of us to spread out and and they’re comfy. Kitchen was perfect- very functional. The filtered sunlight in the house made for magical mornings. Outside deck is just adorable. We’ll be back. Highly recommend for families with young kids.

Picture Perfect

This cottage is dreamy!! It was well equipped and very comfortable. The beds were very cozy. The fall colors were breathtaking. The stream was so relaxing. So much time and effort went into the details of this cottage. Plenty of towels and linens were provided. The patio and porch are so picture perfect. We cannot wait until we can come back for more.

Sundance getaway

The moment I saw the property I knew I had to be there! The Stone cottage was absolutely beautiful inside and out. My husband and I appreciated the fine art throughout the cabin. We had just visited Sedona and made a trip to Arcosanti for my birthday 2Weeks prior. We knew we were in the right place when we saw a bell hanging by the front door. The cabin was cozy and everything I had hoped it would be. The cabin was fully stocked with linens And everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Our daughter and niece also enjoyed the warm ambience and beautiful surroundings. Would love to come back in early summer and Siri everything in bloom

Relaxing Anniversary Getaway

Directions to Sundance were very easy to follow and when we got there it was just as quaint as I had hoped. The kitchen was well stocked to stay in if it was you wanted. Loved having the fireplace to hang out by at night. The hollow also turned out to be very cute. It was a great location to stay and be able to visit other places. We drove through park city and spent the afternoon on our way in from the airport. Tons of awesome hikes with waterfalls within about 10-15 minutes. Loved this rental. Everything was really well thought out. Also the bedding was some of the most comfortable I've ever found! They were super responsive to any questions we had. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Incredible Getaway at the Storybook Stone Cottage!

My husband and I fell in love with the listing of the Storybook Stone Cottage and when we arrived, we were thrilled to see that it met every expectation from the pictures online. It was the sweetest retreat from the chaos of life. We had a cozy, comfortable stay with every amenity we could need for a long weekend (including a delicious loaf of pumpkin bread that was waiting as a sweet welcome gift). The home was well appointed, clean, and did I mention COZY? I especially appreciated the heated stone floors on the crisp fall mornings! We chose this cottage for the location on the river (which is stunning!), but the home as a whole was a home run. We spent a lot of time at the Sundance Resort down the road and highly recommend every restaurant there! But the kitchen at the cottage is certainly well equipped if you choose to cook there instead. I would give this property 10 stars if I could! Loved every minute and can't wait to go back!

Beautiful Fireplace

This property is outstanding. The stream running through the property with access to area across the stream via a stone arched bridge is unique. Upscale appliances especially the gas oven and stove. Clean and cozy. I am a fireplace guy and we really loved the craftsmanship of the masonry. Sundance is just a short walk away. Although Sundance has a few restaurant options, they were booked during our stay due to an event, so it may be best to make reservations before your arrival. The accuracy 4 star rating is due to the fact that it appears that you are alone in the forest, but there are homes on each side of the cottage. It did not bother us but thought it worth mentioning if your main goal is total privacy.

Anniversary Surprise

My husband surprised me with a quick trip to this adorable cabin for our second anniversary. It was so fun to walk along the stream and explore the beautiful surroundings, I would have loved to relax in the hot tub right next to the stream, but because I'm pregnant we had to skip that. Being inside was my favorite. The decor was cozy and made me feel like I was living in my very own fairy tale!! The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner and afterward we loved cuddling up on the comfy couches to watch a movie on the flat screen TV. Falling asleep was no problem with the calming sounds of the stream outside and the comfortable bed, and waking up to the heated tile flooring was a very nice surprise. Even though I didn't want to leave, I couldn't wait to tell my family about it. I hope they'll take my advice and decide to stay here! Overall, it was the perfect way to spend an anniversary and hope to do it again next year!!

Perfect Home Away From Home

This cabin is absolutely adorable! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, (I accidentally brought coffee beans) they had a grinder. My husband was in LOVE with the heated tile throughout. All the small touches such as the Christmas decorations, welcome banana bread, and cozy bedding made you feel warm and right at home. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for sharing this little gem with us.
