Perfect property in Red River for a mountain get away. Check-in was easy, communication was great. This house was within walking distance of most town activities, and the hot tub was the cherry on top.
This house is very close to the ski slopes, not so much walking distance but you could walk if you had to. It was right in town within walking distance to rentals, shops, and restaurants. We had visitors from local wildlife and enjoyed the hot tub.
The property was in a great location for us. The layout was great. We would most definitely stay again and would probably like to have both houses that are on that piece of property.
The property slept our crew of 7 comfortably. It was also easy to walk to the main street to shop and grab a bite to eat. We were hoping our view of the creek would be better, but all we really could see were parked cars and trucks that used the gravel area for parking. Also, it was tricky cooking meals because the kitchen didn't have some items like measuring cups or serving bowls.
Overall nice place. Kids really enjoyed the hot tub. Description seems to imply a larger house than actually is but we got along just fine. Construction next door was unfortunate because of the noise and the language of the workers. Not family friendly!!!!
We truly enjoyed our stay at Lost in Paradise! The house is beautiful inside and out and the location was perfect. The river runs directly in front of the property and the mountain views from the porch were a great way to enjoy our morning coffee. The property manager had the hot tub on and ready for us after our long day of travel and the hot tub itself was new and well maintained. The house is well furnished and we really enjoyed the fireplace very night. The beds were high quality and everyone slept great. The location makes it easy to get to/from the local shops and restaurants but the house is tucked far enough away from the main road that you still feel a sufficient amount of privacy and seclusion. We would definitely rent this property again and hope to do so soon!

Great location
This was a wonderful spot for our family. Kids enjoyed playing in the creek daily and we loved how accessible the town was from here. We walked to almost everything in the town. Negative was that they have built another house right next to this one which is actually on the river and this one is not - if we were to stay again we would stay in that one or in a slightly larger house. The other has a larger wrap around porch and you can sit and enjoy the river - this location isn’t really on the river so that was disappointing. You also share a fire pit and picnic table but both are outside the other house as well which is not as enjoyable when you have little kids.
Bathroom upstairs is small for 4-6 people to share but manageable. Favorite part really was the location to everything in the town! Loved this city and plan to come back to try the skiing out!
Kitchen supplies were terrible. No egg frying pan, no big prepping cooking bowls, no cookie sheet, it was very difficult to make meals as the kitchen supplies were terrible. The pans are non stick and everything stuck and burnt.

Please let us know that you need new kitchen supplies next time. We try to keep those things on hand for replacements.
Thank you
We love Red River and had friends join us this time. This is a perfect house for two families and kiddos. The only thing that I wish the house had was a keypad. We had one key to share for the nine of us, which was tough. I know that we could have received a second key, but didn't want to miss ski time to make a trip to the office. Great house!
We loved this property! Right by the creek for fishing and rock skipping. Stocked with all the items we need to cook. Right by town and an easy walk to everything.
Would be nice to have a keypad vs 1 key
Right at the base of the mountain next to the river is nestled a lovely home that is perfect for a vacation. We had 2 families and the larger family stayed upstairs, and the smaller downstairs. We used the pull out couches for both nights that both families were in the home.
The home is new and lots of architectural details were apparent. The management company made contactless check in and check out perfect. They also communicated via text during our stay and were very responsive. They even dropped off a teapot so we could have fun with Hot Chocolate Bombs!
