Apartment in Essen-Kettwig in the green Ruhr Valley

The modernized in 2015, 46 sqm apartment is located in the heart of the garden city Kettwig. Kettwig is the southernmost district of Essen and lies in the middle of the green belt. The Kettwig old town offers many beautiful postcard views with its numerous historic half-timbered houses and a beautiful church staircase. Cozy restaurants and beer gardens invite you to linger.
From here, the entire Ruhr area with its Ruhr Valley and its industrial heritage can be explored. The immediate proximity to the Ruhrtalradweg offers cyclists unlimited possibilities for excursions to Essen, Mülheim, Duisburg, Düsseldorf and the Bergisch Land. Hiking trails for walkers and strollers are sufficiently available. Extensive shopping and dining options are within 500m. The proximity to the fairs Dusseldorf (about 25km) and Essen (about 10km) and the Essen University Hospital (about 10km) offers more interesting uses.
A very good traffic connection is given both over the A52 (approx. 4km), A3 (Breitscheider cross approx. 10 km) as well as over the public passenger traffic.
The apartment, which is located in the attic of an apartment building with 3 apartments, offers a hall, a living room with open kitchen and dining area, a bedroom and a bathroom.
In the living room you will find a leather seating combination with table and a TV with DVD player and an internet radio.
The bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed and a sofa bed, so that there is enough room for 2-4 persons.
Renovated in 2019, the fitted kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, ceramic hob and oven, as well as a microwave, coffee pad machine and kettle. Dining and cooking utensils are extensively available.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink, hanging toilet, washing machine and tumble dryer and can be well ventilated through a window. Here are hair dryer, hand / bath towels and shampoo for your daily needs available.
The price of 50 € / night (300 € / week) includes heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, final cleaning and WiFi.
The price is basically for a booking with 2 adults plus children (up to 14 years). If you only want to stay 1 night or occupy our apartment with more than 2 adults, we charge a cleaning fee of 25 € per stay.
