Wine Trail Lodge

Welcome to Wine Trail Lodge! 🍷This newly remodeled ranch style home is open for guests. Located in the heart of the beautiful Fingerlakes on the main wine trail, you will find comfortable accommodations for 6 (with a sleep sofa in the livingroom for 2 extra). It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a livingroom area, and a kitchen/dining area with a coffee bar! Complete with a washer and dryer. Also has Air conditioning and WiFi! No TV.
Use the deck for a cookout on the grill with family & friends or enjoy a cup of coffee listening to songbirds on a quiet morning 🌄. There is a fire pit and chairs in the backyard. Also space for outdoor activities!
A short hike on a nearby gravel road will bring you to a road view of beautiful Seneca Lake. There are 12 wineries within a 10 mile range! Visit Herman Weimer Winery who won the best winemaking award of the year! Watkins Glen State Park is 10 minutes away. Other tourist attractions include Shtayburne Farms, Watkins Glen State Park, Hector Falls, Science Center in Ithaca, or take a day trip to Niagara Falls.

Nice Spot

House was very roomy. Very nice and clean. It was cold outside so we were not able to enjoy the outdoor deck and fire pit. Definitely would’ve used with the wine we got from the wineries we visited.

Chocolate and Wine weekend

Very clean, well equipped house. We were there for the Chocolate and Wine weekend on the Wine Trail. Had a great time. The weather was not the best. Snowy Saturday and Sleet/Rain on Sunday but we had a great time. The only thing I would add would be a tv for bad weather days. Overall a great place and great host!

Mellon Lake Girls Trip

girlfriends visited from Ontario Canada. This was a great location, we went to Watkins Glen and park and then wineries on Sunday. the cottage was very nice and host left us little treats and wine!! We would use this location again

Comfortable Base Camp

My wife and I met another couple here for three mid-week nights. We used the home as a jumping off point to tour the Finger Lakes and enjoy the fall foliage. It proved to be ideal. It is a quiet rural location and the home is comfortable, clean, and a good value. We are in our seventies. We suggest a couple of items that would improve client convenience: bathroom towel bars, luggage caddies in the bedrooms, and additional indirect lighting in the living room. We enjoyed our stay here. Thank you.

We had a blast exploring the finger lakes. This house was perfect, spacious and located close to many activities. Wine country at its best The house had all the amenities needed for your stay. Would highly recommend and stay again

The house was clean and well maintained. It easily accommodated our family of 7 adults. We loved that the hostess had provided some snacks and water and gifted us a bottle of wine!

5 of us stayed in this VRBO for a weekend hiking and wine touring. The home was clean and a perfect location. We appreciated the snacks, bottle of wine, and coffee left for us. There was wifi which was a pleasant surprise. One complaint was the water stopped working for about 15 minutes, but did come back on. The host was responsive and let us know to just wait out the water. Overall had a great stay!

Would be great if it was cleaned properly

The kitchen floor was sticky all over, most likely from spraying cleaner down and dry mopping and barefoot-prints all over. The showers in both bathrooms looked like they haven't been cleaned in months or since acquiring the property. Hair on the shower walls, dirt and soap scum was clearly noticeable and used bars of soap were plentiful. Bowls in the cabinet had stagnant water sitting in them for who knows how long and smelled of some sort of seasoning. I also killed about 10 flies and several other flying species during my stay. The washing machine didnt have a smell but the detergent tray was moldy and had some white substance caked on to one of the compartments. I tried to get the host to come by and see these concerns so I didn't have to write them here. Basically, the house needs a good deep and proper clean and it would be a good option to rent, as long as the cleaner does their job. For some positives: The location and size of the house was nice. The host was accommodating for a last minute booking.
