A 15 minute hike or a drive of a few minutes takes you to your own private dock on the Clarion River. Before walking down the short fight of stairs sit on the Observation Deck and enjoy the view, a lunch and a drink. On the dock most guests relax, swim, fish, kayak or take their own boat or jet ski for a run. If you want to take a break from the river hike the North Country Trail which is at your doorstep. Jean and I are retired educators. We wont tell you for how long. We also have a bit of entrepenurship in us as well. We have 4 lodging we offer on Airbnb, 3 here in the woods of North Central PA along the Clarion River. One on the bay waterfront in Rockport, TX. I like to build and Jean likes to decorate so things work out well.
great way to meet people and make a couple extra bucks. Come and visit.

Why they chose this property
If you want to be in the out of doors, if you want to float on the river, if you want to hike a National Parks administered trail, if you want to bike 30 miles or more on a Rails to Trails path, if you enjoy cruising your ATV on HUNDREDS of Open Township Roads and 30 miles of ATV trails THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!
I am a 40+ year resident of Clarion County, PA. Jean is a life time resident. A few years ago, after selling our country home in another part of Clarion County, we moved to our current home on the Clarion River/Lake where we had built a camp. This camp turned into our enlarged private residence. From there we enjoyed our gatherings with family and friends and continued to do what we do evolve. We built 3, in our opinion, beautiful lodgings to share with folks like yourself. Our 650 acres of woodland and river property inspired our busy minds and body and it still does so today. Come see for yourself.

What makes this property unique
There are not many places where you can do or participate in such a diverse array of outdoor activities as you can here. No Bull, you are only steps away from all the things mentioned throughout. Bike, hike, water ski, cross country ski, jet ski, fish, swim, ride an ATV, kayak, pick wild mushrooms, photograph birds and wild life, watch a play or sporting event at the university, relax. And after doing some or all those things listed above you can settle down on the observation deck on the river, the river dock, on the private lodging deck or the campfire area and enjoy a drink or 2 and have a great dinner. Cook in the well furnished and supplied kitchen, cook over the open fire or order in, you pick. Maybe do all of those things over the course of your say.
