Description : Newly built house, 80 m² living space, 600 m² plot, 1.5 km from the sea. The house offers on the 2nd floor 4 double bedrooms, a kitchen, 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet and two large terraces, everything is fully furnished. Distance: sea 1 km, beach 1.5 km, Pula approx. 2.5 km, Fazana approx. 3 km Distance to shops: 800 m. Distance to restaurant: 300 m. Quiet location, ideal for family holidays Available: Car park, barbecue, location description: --PULA and surroundings -- The harbour town of Pula is located on the south-western tip of the Istrian peninsula, approx. 130 km south of Trieste and approx. 110 km south-west of Rijeka. Numerous, mostly well-preserved monuments (e.g. the amphitheatre, the Temple of Augustus and the small triumphal arch) bear witness to the eventful and interesting past of this city. In Pula itself, the lively shopping streets, the market and the street cafés are full of life. The city hosts numerous cultural events such as concerts, festivals, theatre and folklore. A few kilometres south of the city centre, right by the sea, are the tourist resorts, modern hotel complexes and well-balanced holiday resorts, the best known of which are on the Verudela peninsula and the deeply indented Veruda Bay (Nova Veruda and Pjescana Uvala) with its modern marina. The extensive sports and entertainment facilities are concentrated here, with good restaurants, cafés, discos and nightclubs. In the southernmost section, on the indented coast with its beautiful stone and rocky beaches, there are old fishing villages such as Premantura, Medulin and Liznjan, which have attracted more and more visitors in recent years. The interesting hinterland, a varied coastline with towns worth seeing such as Rovinj (approx. 40 km) and Porec (approx. 50 km) on the west coast, the Brion Islands and the well-known excursion destinations of the Kvarner Bay of Cres/Losinj and Krk offer a variety of possibilities for day trips. --Fazana-- Fazana, 8 km north-west of Pula, is a lively little fishing and bathing resort with a beautiful beach. We recommend a boat trip to the offshore Brijuni Islands (national park). The traditional anchovy festival takes place at the beginning of August. Good shopping facilities and restaurants in the village. Valbandon lies 2 km south of Fazana. The long, gently sloping pebble beach is particularly suitable for children. From Valbandon to Fazana there is a beautiful beach promenade for cycling or walking. The town is known for its large selection of restaurants. Area description: --ISTRIA -- Istria, the peninsula in the north-west of Croatia, between Trieste and Rijeka, has an old tradition as a holiday destination. At the turn of the century, Austrian society was already travelling to Opatija, which was then still called Abbazia, and Portoroz. The advantages of Istria are obvious: a mild, favourable climate and pleasant water temperatures, lush Mediterranean vegetation and many cultural and historical monuments. In a charming and varied landscape, cliffs and beaches, mostly made of natural stone, rock or gravel, are a delight. Secluded, sheltered bays invite you to swim undisturbed. Istria is a well-developed tourist region that offers a wide range of leisure and entertainment options. Demand is concentrated in a few, particularly popular places: The old towns of Rovinj, Porec and Umag, the lively capital Pula in the south, the picturesquely situated Rabac and Opatija, a much-visited seaside resort with a touch of imperial and royal Riviera atmosphere. A stark contrast to the colourful hustle and bustle of these towns are the hills in the hinterland, 'Green Istria', where a different world seems to open up just a few kilometres from the coast, with enchanted-looking villages in a karst landscape. There are many interesting excursion possibilities (on your own or via tourist agencies): Trieste and Venice (by boat or by land) and the fabulous Postojna Caves, Lipica for horse lovers, the Brion Islands and the large islands in the Kvarner Bay such as Krk, Cres, Losinj and Rab.
