Nice little house with garden. 8 minutes walk from the beach and 8 minutes to the center.
Comfortable beds, nice rooms with enough closet space, mirrors, night lamps and new furnitures. Queen size beds not king size. In the biggest room there is a little couch that can be transformed into a bed, but that is mostly for children. Very low and quite short. Don't coun't two adults sleeping on it.
The bathroom is very traditional, I would say, rather empty. There is only 1 shelf, where everything slides down from. No shelfs and not enough hooks to hang your towels on. The first day we had water all over the floor because the water just did not want to run down. The owner fixed it and it was okay aftewards, Shower curtain....fussy to keep it in so you donøt get water all over the floor. I was not satisfied with the bathroom at all....but for a 7 -nights...I can live with it.
The kitchen as well....very low-cost solution, little space, no oven, only 2 plates to cook on.
We had guest for a barbeque dinner...there were not enought forks and knifes, plates. But we bought some plastic cutlery and plates, cups.
No dishwasher. The owner was kind and borrowed us a table and 4 chairs, so we all could sit outside.
It is a very good location if you have dog, there is a fence around the house. The owner has a dog , too, so our dog always escaped...he found holes in the fence and he just ran out.... but the owner was not irritated, he just let him come back again.
Aircon only in the kitchen, not in the rooms.
2 sitting areas outside. It is nice.
No washing mashine, it is a pity, bu again, you have possibility for washing at the owner's house if you like, he will give you the key to the washing room and you can pay per washing.
Otherwise there is a loundry in town.
You will walk 8 minutes to the beach.
Try the Salt&Pepper restaurant at the corener og the street!!!! It is a must! Very delicious food is served there! Rememeber to book a table in advance, they are very busy!
Great stay, Medulin is a lovely town!
