INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach. 


E-Checks are accepted for advance reservations at no additional charge (15 days prior to check in). All credit card payments will incur a 3.5% convenience fee.

Gorgeous view of the beach from the 22nd floor!

Beautiful condo with great views of the beach! Open Floorplan with lots of natural light and panoramic view of the beach from the living room windows. Easy check in and lots of amenities on the property for everyone in the family.

My ONLY complaint about this property is the SLOW SLOW SLOW elevators. Our condo was fabulous! The staff was fabulous! Mark at the Tiki Bar was AWESOME!

The condo was very nice

There was no mention of a $63.20 for parking for a 3 bedroom condo for 3 days This should be listed on your website so your guest will know there is an additional fees being charged when checking in for parking . While checking in other guest were like I already paid all the fees Why do I now have yo pay for parking

Million Dollar View

We brought our young adult kids & their friends to the area. Our favorite thing was the views of the Gulf, Pier Park and surrounding areas from our terrace. We had amazing weather. It does get busy at check in time. We were a little early so able to avoid the check in lines and crowds on the elevator. There was a wait at times for elevator through the week but not horrible (no longer than 5 min) My only suggestion for this property is that the area rugs/recliner chairs need to be professionally cleaned. They are looking grimey. Otherwise the property was clean and served us well for the week!

Elevators

Property was nice overall, but the wait for the elevators was rough. We read the reviews but had no idea the wait for elevators could potentially be 40 plus minutes, especially during check in time. Construction is going on at the front of condo but it was not bad. Pools could have be cleaner. The pool with the tiki bar played VERY VULGAR MUSIC with multiple children present. We went to the opposite pool for the rest of our stay. Property was on the beach with a small store that sold iced and hot coffee on-site. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Will probably stay there again.

Great Views

The gulf and lagoon view was amazing especially being able to watch the fireworks off the pier. The unit was clean, beds were decent but could use some new pillows. They were pretty flat. Otherwise the unit was great. We did have a power outage throughout the entire building and we were the lucky ones to still have power from the generator. Elevators were down for hours and we had no water. The next morning the ac still wasn’t working so I text Panhandle and they were very quick to respond and tell us what to do. Communication was excellent! Elevators did suck but once the outage occurred and they came out to fix them they all did seem to be working again and were quicker than they had been all week. The bar and grill was a little too pricey so we didn’t make any purchases. We went out to one outdoor pool once and chose not to go back. There was sand all in the bottom even though it had been cleaned that morning. Overall the stay was great

Nice view and location

The property was very clean and quite up to date. It has a great beach vibe. The view from the living room is awesome. 15-20 minutes walking distance from pier park. We had issues with internet connection. Did contact management by email and answered in just few minutes. Was quite impressed. Unfortunately they could not resolve my issue. The modem was hidden behind locked door (I believe) so I cannot reset it myself which normally takes away connection issue. The internet came back by itself in couple of hours. If you want beach chair then you need to rent at 50$ cash for a set of 2. They only accept cash which I did not have on me. I don’t like to bring cash to the beach and Apple Pay was not an option… we are in 2022! I have found the exterior hot tub a bit too hot for me. The pool was not heated outside and with the cool water outside the outside pool was not an option. The inside pool was taken down for maintenance the entire Saturday. I don’t know if it was a planned maintenance in which case should be done on Monday. The gym was a great plus. The elevators are quite problematic. Be prepare to wait. I was on the 22nd floor. There are times it was quicker to take the stairs then waiting for the elevator. Unfortunately it is not an option when you use the luggage cart. We waited over an hour to get a spot in the elevator when checking out on Sunday morning. Despite this and the bad weather (strong wind and red flag) we did have a good time and enjoyed the property.
