About this property
The Perch on Jefferson: Parking Pass Included! Sunlit Skies and City Views
Come stay at the Perch on Jefferson and have a great adventure. The Perch is a newly renovated, thoroughly comfortable and tastefully appointed home away from home for the traveler who wants to be in the thick of Savannah but who also wants to float a little above the hubbub. It is a great base for your stay, offering respite two flights above the action.
STV-02409
The Perch occupies the entire penthouse floor of an historic building on the corner of Jefferson and Broughton Street. Broughton Street is the main thoroughfare in Savannah's Historic District for shopping, dining, and nightlife. Downtown Savannah bubbles with people and sounds. It is a great little town bursting with historic buildings and ghost stories. All of Savannah's Historic District is entirely accessible by foot from the Perch.
Up two flights of stairs, the Perch features windows on three sides offering a panoply of views. Northward, the living and dining areas look out across Broughton toward the river. Sipping coffee in the morning, don't be surprised to see a ship towering behind the low-slung historic skyline, moving slowly up river toward the Port of Savannah. Working at the desk in the common area, the view extends westward down Broughton Street and the south-facing bedrooms view rooftops and receive sunlight all day.
The open floor plan offers comfortable living during your stay. The kitchen is well-supplied, and the sitting area is plush and easy.
Both bedrooms have queen beds and provide a cozy, restful retreat.
The en suite bathroom in the main bedroom has a large shower stall and the half bath is livened with cityscape wallpaper.
This is the ideal spot for travelers who want to be in the thick of it--with immediate access to what has drawn you to Savannah. Down two flights of stairs and out the door, you will be in a square with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in just minutes. Shop till you drop and go out for more. Reach the Telfair and Jepson Museums, the Owen's-Thomas House, and most other sites easily...all of it just by walking.
We know that parking in downtown Savannah can be challenging, and that is why we provide a parking pass for you for a secure parking deck very close to the apartment. We want to make things as easy as possible for you during your stay.
**The pass gives you 24 hour access to the Robinson Parking Garage, but there is not an assigned or guaranteed spot. All parking is based on availability. You will need the pass to enter and to exit the deck.**
**The apartment is on the third floor and the building does not have an elevator.
**Because of its central location, city noise will filter up from the street, as it does to every residence in the downtown area. We provide a white noise machine in each bedroom to help mitigate the city sounds if you're a light sleeper.
If you think you might be bothered by noise during your stay, I recommend you look for an rental in the residential sections of Savannah.
