The Perch on Jefferson: Parking Pass Included! Sunlit Skies and City Views
Come stay at the Perch on Jefferson and have a great adventure. The Perch is a newly renovated, thoroughly comfortable and tastefully appointed home away from home for the traveler who wants to be in the thick of Savannah but who also wants to float a little above the hubbub. It is a great base for your stay, offering respite two flights above the action.
STV-02409
The Perch occupies the entire penthouse floor of an historic building on the corner of Jefferson and Broughton Street. Broughton Street is the main thoroughfare in Savannah's Historic District for shopping, dining, and nightlife. Downtown Savannah bubbles with people and sounds. It is a great little town bursting with historic buildings and ghost stories. All of Savannah's Historic District is entirely accessible by foot from the Perch.
Up two flights of stairs, the Perch features windows on three sides offering a panoply of views. Northward, the living and dining areas look out across Broughton toward the river. Sipping coffee in the morning, don't be surprised to see a ship towering behind the low-slung historic skyline, moving slowly up river toward the Port of Savannah. Working at the desk in the common area, the view extends westward down Broughton Street and the south-facing bedrooms view rooftops and receive sunlight all day.
The open floor plan offers comfortable living during your stay. The kitchen is well-supplied, and the sitting area is plush and easy.
Both bedrooms have queen beds and provide a cozy, restful retreat.
The en suite bathroom in the main bedroom has a large shower stall and the half bath is livened with cityscape wallpaper.
This is the ideal spot for travelers who want to be in the thick of it--with immediate access to what has drawn you to Savannah. Down two flights of stairs and out the door, you will be in a square with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in just minutes. Shop till you drop and go out for more. Reach the Telfair and Jepson Museums, the Owen's-Thomas House, and most other sites easily...all of it just by walking.
We know that parking in downtown Savannah can be challenging, and that is why we provide a parking pass for you for a secure parking deck very close to the apartment. We want to make things as easy as possible for you during your stay.
**The pass gives you 24 hour access to the Robinson Parking Garage, but there is not an assigned or guaranteed spot. All parking is based on availability. You will need the pass to enter and to exit the deck.**
**The apartment is on the third floor and the building does not have an elevator.
**Because of its central location, city noise will filter up from the street, as it does to every residence in the downtown area. We provide a white noise machine in each bedroom to help mitigate the city sounds if you're a light sleeper.
If you think you might be bothered by noise during your stay, I recommend you look for an rental in the residential sections of Savannah.

Place is great, clean and communication great. Location great!!!, however, VERY loud at night. Would definitely stay again but downside of great location is noise Highly recommend
Had a great stay near all the shopping! You can hear some of the louder street noises in the living room area, but the bedrooms were quiet. Enjoyed our Savannah stay and the parking pass was a great amenity.
Wonderful space. Well appointed. Well stocked and comfortable and cozy. Authentic experience of living in an historic apartment in downtown Savannah. Great communication with the host.
The Perch on Jefferson was all we expected and more. Location can't be beat. And the host was very responsive. Highly recommend and would stay there again.

The location was wonderful. The city of Savannah was marvelous. However the being a good neighbor...only applied to us as guest. The cars and excessive noise on the street from the cars was off putting ( started at 9pm until 2 am ,lound horns, reviving of engines and extremely lound music on street) Instructions about the apt were confusing and the apt itself needed a good mopping and dusting. The mattress 's were extremely comfortable. The apt itself was very charming and bright. The people of Savannah were WONDERFUL in every aspect. The convenience of parking a plus..tysm .

Deborah, I am sorry you did not enjoy your time at the apartment. I wish you had read the listing. We try be clear about noise as it relates to the very central location. Reading reviews of the place would also have helped. As far as getting in the apartment, again, if you had read the instructions, you would have had several of the questions you asked me in the several calls you made answered. For future travel, I strongly recommend that you read the information that hosts provide you as it will certainly go a long way toward helping you enjoy your future stays, or consider choosing a hotel next time. While that option may lack color and interest, the predictability for you, coupled with a much lower burden of self-managment may lead to a more enjoyable time.
We loved the location and were happy to realize almost everywhere we planned to go was within walking distance. The apartment is nice and clean. The couch chairs and beds were a little more comfortable. It was hard for more than 2 ppl to be comfortable watching TV. The beds were also pretty hard for my preference. Overall the place is great, just wish it had better beds.
We were in Savannah for a wedding. First time in Savannah and needed to stay somewhere close to the venue. This place was only a 5 minute walk so it was convenient. There was a lot of action on Broughton especially at night. Not sure if that is a normal weekend or not. The place had everything we needed and the parking pass was a definite perk. Would stay again to really explore Savannah next time.
This is an awesome loft style apartment in the heart of Savannah. We were able to walk everywhere. The unit itself was super clean and nice and the check in process was very easy. It’s well taken care of and has a lot of southern charm. Would definitely stay again.
Only drawbacks were the AC unit seems to be small for the apartment. We were there on some of the hottest days when it was high 90’s and even with thermostat set at 70 it got up to about 76 late afternoon With AC running but back down to 70 by the time we went to bed
The property was stunning in person and the pictures don’t do justice. Perfect area for walking distance to get to see, and enjoy the heart of Savannah!
We adored our stay in Savannah. Property was absolutely perfect, better than the pictures. Super well appointed, didn't need to buy anything other than bottled water! Great communication with the seller. Will definitely be back!
Perfect location for entertainment, shopping, dining! Lots of character. Host very communicative/accessible.

Why they chose this property
The Grey Market is right across Jefferson, and visible from the east facing windows. Great little lunch counter, and a good spot to pick up a quick bottle of wine and a sandwich.
Coffee Fox is two blocks down on Broughton for all you caffeination needs!
One block down Jefferson on the aptly named Telfair Square is the Telfair and Jepson Museums.
Maple Street Biscuit is a great spot for super fancy biscuit breakfasts.
Oh yes! The Savannah River, River Street, and the brand new Plant Riverside District are minutes away by foot.
You name it, it is close by.
