The holiday apartment is located in Oberdiebach, in the district of Rheindiebach. Rheindiebach is located on the Rhine, in the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Upper Middle Rhine Valley", approx. 15 km from the "Loreley", between Niederheimbach (ferry) and Bacharach.

The apartment is located on the top floor and offers enough space for 2 or 3 people (approx. 77 m2). The apartment has a separate entrance with its own terrace (charcoal barbecue on request). Car parking space at the house.

The holiday apartment is ideal for people who like hiking, cycling or want to get to know the "Upper Middle Rhine Valley". The Rheinburgenwanderweg (left bank of the Rhine) and the Rheinsteig (right bank of the Rhine) are ideal for hiking. The ferry in Niederheimbach/Lorch is within easy walking distance (1km), so that both sides of the Rhine can be explored without any problems. We recommend cycling along the cycle paths that run parallel to the Rhine. If you prefer something a little more hilly, you can let off steam in the Hunsrück and Taunus regions. Bacharach with its historic old town and various places to stop for refreshments is certainly worth a day trip. There are other places to stop for refreshments in Oberwesel (10 km) or Bingen (13 km), for example. In addition to visiting the many castles in the immediate vicinity, an excursion on the "White Fleet" is certainly recommended. The Loreley rock and the towns of Bingen and Rüdesheim are also worth a visit.

Shopping facilities are available in Bacharach (small supermarket) and in Oberwesel (Rewe, Lidl, Aldi, Roßmann).

Note: You can certainly enjoy your holiday without a car (train station in Niederheimbach/800m), but it is recommended to have a car on site.

Everyone has to decide for themselves whether to use this car park, as the driveway to the car park requires some practice. Alternatively, you can park on the street in front of the apartment (quiet residential area).

Arrival/departure:
On the day of arrival, occupancy of the apartment is planned from 16.00h, an earlier arrival is possible by arrangement. Holiday guests should contact us by telephone before their arrival in order to arrange the arrival time and the handover of the keys.
Departure until 10.30h, or by arrangement.

For active holidaymakers: hiking, mountain biking, cycling.

Excursions: castles/ruins - Fürstenberg ruins (1km), Stahleck Castle (5km), Sooneck Castle (5km), Rheinstein Castle (7km), Rheingrafenstein Castle (8km), Schönburg Castle (12km), etc.

Visit old, historic towns: Bacharach old town (4km), Oberwesel (10km), St. Goar (17km), Bingen (14km), Rüdesheim (16km), etc.

Boat trips: Excursions with the "White Fleet" or various other shipping companies.

Hunsrück Zoo/High Game Reserve in Rheinböllen (15km).
