About this property

May On Sale! Pools/Pet Friendly - New furniture and AC!

New living room furniture has been delivered and new windows have been ordered and should be installed soon. Check back for updates. Plus, and new, larger HVAC system!

Highlights

If your idea of paradise is to be on the beach, this home is for you! This 7 bedroom, 5.5 bath, single family, beachfront beauty sleeps up to 26 guests so there is ample room for all. In the mood for a pool Day? Morgantown boasts two community pools and tennis/pickleball courts! And did we say pet friendly!? Upper and lower decks provide loads of room to view the surf, the stars and, if you're lucky, the Blue Angels. Pro Tip: Jump on the neighborhood boardwalk adjacent to the house for a short cut to both pools and tennis courts.

The Space

When you enter this large family home the first thing you'll notice is the ample living space complete with brand new (January 2024) sofas. The living area can accommodate large groups which is ideal for movie watching and game playing. The kitchen was designed with large groups in mind also and features a double oven, two sinks and two refrigerators which makes mealtime a breeze. Two large tables and ample counter seating mean the entire group can sit and enjoy meals at the same time. The beach view windows span the length of the home, so you'll be able to take in the amazing views at all times.

Located on the beach side of the lower level is a large bedroom with two queen beds and a private bath. There are two more bedrooms on this main level. One has a full and a queen bed with a private bath and the other has a queen bed. A hallway half bath completes this level.

The primary suite is on the upper level and in addition to the king-sized bed and oversized master bath, you'll find a sitting area with two comfy chairs facing the gulf. The perfect spot to spend a few minutes away from the group to read or just gaze at the view. Or, step outside to your private balcony so you can hear the soothing sound of the surf. Be on the lookout for dolphins! This upper level also features a king room with private bath and a queen room with a private bath. A kid favorite, however, is the bunk room. In true "tree house" fashion, this unique room features three levels of bunks, 6 twins and 2 fulls in all. Bonus! On the upper level is a small "secret" sitting area with a television. This space is a kiddo's favorite!

* Renter must be at least 25 years of age. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Fort Morgan and Morgantown

Morgantown is a lovely, unique seaside community featuring two swimming pools, a kiddie pool, two lighted tennis/pickleball courts and several beach access boardwalks. When you first arrive, you'll notice pride of ownership in this pastel colored, beautifully landscape neighborhood. Guests really enjoy walking and biking along the quiet streets and many rent golf carts and enjoy sunset drives. If you have small children or just prefer the convenience of parking close to the beach, there is a public lot just to the west of Morgantown. Grand Paradise is dog friendly and so is the beach!

Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's (opening soon) to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment.

Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available.

Spring Break 2024
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home was wonderful! Great location, not too over crowded in March. House has everything we needed in the kitchen, plenty of towels, grill was great to have, plenty of seating for our large family and plenty of rooms and beds. Would've been nice to be able to open some windows, seeming how we couldn't adjust the AC. The Westside of the house got extremely warm in the afternoon. Also need more rugs or a small vacuum. Sand was everywhere, which is expected, just wish we could've cleaned it up a little. Overall though, our experience was great!

Not the best stay for thanksgiving
Stayed at grand paradise thanksgiving week for 6 nights with family, 8 adults and 6 kids. Plenty of sleeping space. Loved being on the beach in a nice neighborhood. Lots of room for 6 cars. Large kitchen, lots of seating (sofas are awful). This house does need some tlc though!! Many issues during out stay…. Upstairs air conditioner is awful. I read this in other reviews and figured in November we would be ok. Had set for 70 and would not get below 80-85 even with it being 60s outside! Couldn’t imagine house in the summer!! Let management know about issue and repair guy was able to recharge unit and it helped but still not perfect. Tried to open a window to circulate air since it was so hot and we discovered the windows are not correctly installed. Bottom pane falls out if lift up. Saw many of the bottom windows have a screw to hold in place! Kinda scary! The bunk room felt old in there, kids avoided it. There was a hole in ceiling at top bunk with pink insulation coming out. Management also fixed that issue. Lastly, small part of the kitchen ceiling came falling down! There was water spots on ceiling and we didn’t think anything of until it came falling down! Once again management was quick to send out repair guy. It started to swell up again before we checkout out so think might fall again. Must have plumbing issues! These issues really did affect our stay at grand paradise. Hate leaving negative reviews but would definitely never return!

Perfect house!
This was our first time to Fort Morgan and we loved the area. Very peaceful and pretty! House was perfect size for our family of 10 adults and 2 pups. Very well stocked and nice set up. Could use a few cosmetic updates and more comfy couches but overall lots of seating, space and very cute. Nice community and steps from the beach! Beautiful beach - we were even treated with a mini blue angels show one day. Only complaint would be the linens. Towels very thin and small. Sheets did not fit beds too well. I would bring my own next time.

Great access to beach just a little dirty
Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the house was amazing. It was next to the boardwalk so the beach was much busier in front of our house than a few yards down the coast. The house does not come with a private area on the beach and it’s first come first serve. And people leave their stuff on the beach overnight which is fine, except all the “good” spots are taken for days in a row. The house was about a 2 on a 1-5 scale in terms of cleanliness. There were lots of cobwebs everywhere, sand was all over the floor when we arrived, the house has been well used, the washer smells really moldy and the couches look nice but are really uncomfortable. But again, you are on the beach so no one is spending tons of time inside unless the weather is bad. We also didn’t know about the jelly fish migration that starts in July and lasts a while. We went in September and there wereJelly fish everywhere that we couldn’t swim for a day. They finally cleared out once the ocean calmed down a bit.
