AIR CONDITIONING - The Central AC at Hale Kona Kai has been repaired and is fully functional as of 8/4/23.

HALE KONA KAI UNIT 205 SPECIAL FEATURES: This unit has a dehumidifier built-in to the closet where it works quietly. This feature works well with the AC to keep the unit cool and comfortable. Recent improvements include repair and repainting the lanai, updating and replacing some kitchen utensils.

Find your beach with Kona Beach Properties! This oceanfront property offers unobstructed views of the Kona coastline. The ocean is teeming with life! Sit on your lanai and watch spinning dolphins year around and humpback breaching just offshore during the winter and spring months. Turtles and eels find plenty of sustenance in the tide pools. Wake up and fall asleep to the calming sound of the ocean.
This unit is beautifully updated. Featured amenities include central AC for those extra warm nights and high speed wifi, a necessity for "working" remotely where Zoom conference calls may be necessary.

Hale Kona Kai is a special complex right on the ocean in the heart of Kona. It is a short walk to anything you need; restaurants, entertainment, shopping and beaches. An elevator provides easy access. The property boasts a heated salt water pool and BBQ area. Laundry rooms are available on each floor.

The island has many resort-quality golf courses, the closest one within 5 miles. There are plenty of places to snorkel from shore, or take a snorkeling cruise. Kona offers world-class fishing opportunities. Catch an ono for dinner or a world record Pacific Blue Marlin.

Great location, Comfortable apartment

Great location in Kona. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Apartment was very clean. Bed was comfy. Total space a little smaller than it looked in the photo. Bathroom was tiny but workable. Kitchen was well stocked. We ate dinner out most nights but had breakfast and sometimes lunch at the room. It worked well for us. Other reviews had a lot to say about the AC. Honestly we left it off most days because it was in the mid 70s with a nice breeze. When we did use the AC the place cooled down quickly.

Cute beach condo in good location

We enjoyed staying here with the ocean view. The location was close to just about everywhere we wanted to go. The amenities were super helpful and we were able to use the coin laundry down the hall. Would stay here again!

Loved the sound of the waves

Great location. Walk to town is short and easy. But the best part is room is located right over the breaking waves. No need to go to a beach.

Wonderful Views

This condo was in a great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants and a small beach. It was quite comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. View from lanai was fabulous, literally hanging over the sea. Condo is not totally updated but it was fine and provided everything needed.

Great view right on the Ocean; Close to town

We spent two weeks here and really enjoyed the visit. The condo is right on the ocean. The sunset views and ocean sounds were amazing. With high winds and waves, it can get a bit loud on this second floor condo. We got used to it, and appreciated the location. The kitchen is really well equipped, which we appreciate since we like to cook in about half the time. We ate on the lanai each night since there is not a great place to sit in the condo itself. Turned out to be great since the temps were perfect. Walking to town takes 10 - 15 minutes depending on where you go. Several good restaurants are also close by. All in all, the condo really suited our needs and we were happy with the choice.
