Great stay for price

The unit was spacious with a bedroom and a separate living room with a sleeper sofa. There was a kitchen and a bathroom. There is a separate laundry room for public use below. Everything was appreciated. I do think they should point out the fact that the address is at the marina and point to it in their official description with an image indicating location. We were confused and thought it was across the street at a house. So we’re over at somebody’s private residence trying to get into a house and that was awkward. The address across the street is the same address as the Vacasa but with a B at the end and we didn’t quite see that on the mailbox. Maybe that was just our confusion. I would stay here again but I would caution to keep both doors locked. There is the initial entrance which goes up a stairwell to the unit where there’s another locked entrance. It feels as though you’re the only one who can use the first entrance. We ran into a problem when one of us left in the car and then five minutes later there was a knock on our interior door that we happen to not lock that time. there was a man on the other side of the door stating he was maintenance there to fix the kitchen light. He probably was connected to the owner or the owner trying to make some repair from a past complaint. Kitchen light over the sink works but it is a little tricky to turn on between the thumb switch and the wall switch. but it works. I was uncomfortable that we were not notified. We have left my older son sleeping there a few days by himself. Well I went to the door and locked it before I spoke. And I told the person on the other side of the door that the light is fine. It scared me because we were not notified and he had gotten through a locked door. A locked door that I thought we were the only ones who would have the code. And it’s appropriate to notify the guest when a maintenance person needs to access the unit. So that freaked me out. I’d bet it was harmless/misunderstanding however when we contacted Vacasa they were silent and didn’t respond. And that bothered me more than anything. The unit was great because it was in the marina harbor and I love the location. There is a restaurant nearby. There’s pay washing machines below if you need them and the price is good. This is an adventure at the marina. I apologize for venting here and not sending a private message but Vacasa didn’t respond so the future guest should know my experience. Overall-I was happy we stayed.
