Wonderful little place. A block away from the main drag with all the shops, bars and restaurants. The backdrop, right out the door, is the san Jacinto mountains. The base of the mountains is probably not even a half mile from the front door. The view is amazing. The studio is very clean, organized, small but easy to move around in. The studio is part of a small complex which is also clean and pretty. Great landscaping too.
An all around wonderful place to stay.
I was SO looking forward to a relaxing week, close to town and lounging poolside. But the pool is not on the property. That was not mentioned in the reviews. While it is in the property details which I received AFTER I booked the property, it's buried in the middle of a lengthy property detail and check in description. If you don't need an onsite pool and want to be close to town, this will suffice.
This property is adorable and the exterior is cute. Having off-street parking available is great—tho first come first serve, I had no issues. The interior of the cottage bath and paint seem to have last been updated in the 1970’s. So it doesn’t have the mid-century flair, and is really showing its age. The kitchen is well appointed and more recent. Full sized fridge. The walls are thin in the kitchen area, but it was absolutely quiet in the bedroom. I don’t think value to price matched. But this is a high volume time in PS, so it is hard to judge.
No working t.v. that is cable t.v. roque tv, and every other streaming type which was worthless unless you paid, was a tiny studio we mistook for a 1 bedroom unit, parking a nightmare, but the good news is it is all being torn down for a much more expensive renovation. Overall a great person on sight to help us, Thanks Natalia!!!!!!!!!

Poorly ran and a dangerous place to stay! For a VRBO, there were no extra linens, and only 6 towels for 2 of us for 12 days, 2 rolls of TP, cat crap in the gravel garden space, cabinet doors that opened into the way of ceiling fan blades, fridge door that opens the wrong way, landscape crew that starts work at 7:30am & wakes U up during vacation and leaves the cuttings and debris in front the door and walkway for an hour and a half or more (we finally left before it got cleaned up) The coffee pot was a mini one cup coffee pot, and they only provided coffee enough for a cup for 2 days, we bought a Keurig and left it for the property for the next guest to use. This place is just WORN DOWN! The bed spread, the sofa cover, furniture, the patch jobs on the walls, baseboard corners. Some doors with no door jams on them at all. The bathroom light, fan and heater switches, the fan and heater switch are not marked and nothing posted about either. So, when I turned on the "fan" after my partner used the restroom and left, and we came back a few hours later, it was actually the heater and was about 95 inside! Not only that, but then, the hot water taps have no scald protector. Both my partner and I severely burned ourselves! We went out and bought a temp gage. The hot water in the shower, bathroom and kitchen sink came in at 160 degrees F. INTERNET! we could not be on at the same time, nor could we be online and watch Netflix or another service of ou they boast 100 Mbps
We booked this VRBO due to its value for the location close to downtown Palm Springs. We were expecting a smaller space from the pictures so we were satisfied with the cozy size and pleasantly surprised that the unit was slightly roomier than expected. (The pictures are confusing as to the layout, but it works well for two people). We found parking in the yard easy every time and available on the street except on Thursday afternoons and evenings when the streets are closed for a street fair. The unit was clean, with no evidence of bugs whatsoever, and had all the amenities needed (soaps, coffee (pot), ice, pots, pans, and very dull knives). We felt safe as the door has a security screen and the neighborhood is quiet. There are some cosmetic things that could have a few minutes of attention to make the place nicer, but for the "value" near downtown, it was worth it. I looked at comparable units elsewhere for double the price with more problems than minor outdated cosmetics. Yes, we would stay here again if the "value/price" remained the same.
