Embrace Autumn in the Poconos with a Relaxing Stay at Woodland Escape!

Spacious, 3-floor escape ideal for family or group vacations. Plenty of space to gather the group together and spread out as needed:
- 5 bedrooms + bonus room used as 6th bedroom (full room with a door - not an open space)
- 4 full bath
- 2 living rooms
- game room

The house has central AC, WiFi, hot tub, pool table, foosball, ping pong table, gas fireplace, three decks, outdoor gas grill, full-sized washer & dryer, and a fully outfitted kitchen.

It's a 15 min walk or 3 min drive to the beach/lake. By the beach there is a sand volleyball court, playground, paddle boat rentals, outdoor pool.

The marina is a 5 min drive. In season, we have 2 kayaks for use. Tennis and basketball courts are also located at the marina.

**PLEASE NOTE** - The rental comes with 8 wristbands which are required to enjoy the summer amenities. (Children under 6 do not need wristbands.) Guests may purchase additional wristbands from the community for $10 per day per wristband.

**Sorry, no prom, bachelor or bachelorette parties. The house is not a party house. If that is what you are looking for, please consider another property.**

Beautiful woodland retreat

The property was clean and well maintained. We did our best to keep it that way! Easy access to Blue Mountain and good WiFi. The hot tub was hot and clean! The place felt homey and each took has a cute theme.

Family getaway/QT in Poconos

We booked Jen's house for a little getaway for my family as well as my two sisters + their families. The house layout worked really well, with the basement as the designated play space. The kids LOVED the hot tub set-up + the foosball table too. All in all, our families had a great stay.

Perfect for our family vacation

This home is perfect for extended family. Everyone enjoyed playing pool and games together, dining together around the large table, and sitting on the deck around the fire. Three fawns and their mother were frequent visitors to the yard during our stay. The owner was responsive and the rental process was smooth.

Great Property and Communication

The property owner was amazing! We loved the home and were very comfortable. Table tennis, hot tub, and Pool table kept us entertained all weekend!

FANTASTIC TIME!

My friends and I wanted to have a relaxed getaway for the weekend, and we found the perfect home. The house is absolutely stunning. It has everything one would need (entertainment, hot tub, plenty of space, close to sightseeing and hotspots). It was spotless and clean and very, very cozy. The owner was incredibly kind and professional and very responsive (the best owner I've interacted with when renting homes). Couldn't have asked for a better home and experience. Highly recommend!

Fantastic home

There were three families and the house was perfect for all of us. Everybody had enough space to move around. The host, Jennifer, was absolutely amazing. Very quick to respond to any questions. Very helpful for different activities in the area. I would highly recommend this home for a vacation. We hope to stay here again!

Great Host

Jennifer was wonderful from start to finish. She made sure all of my questions were answered promptly. The property is accurate to the description. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms for big groups. We had a large group of adults and children and we all had a memorable time. Would recommend for families and extended family stays.

Comfy Home Away From Home

Jennifer's home was comfortable, clean, and inviting. Everything was seamless from check in to check out. Her communication is awesome. She is very accommodating and a great resource for information for things to do in the area. Also, the home was stocked with toiletries, a fully loaded kitchen, and had cute little touches like a basket of snacks upon arrival. I would definitely stay here again!

Great house for multi family group

It was a great experience staying at this place. Jen is great with communication, so we knew what to expect. When we got to the house it was as described. The house is furnished with a nice touch, with clean linens and towels for everyone. It made easy for everyone to get going immediately. 4 bathrooms is a definite plus. I highly recommend this house for stay for a large group.

Perfect Pocono Retreat

Our family rented this house due to the location, the size, and because it could sleep 14 adults comfortably. The house did not disappoint. I was receiving texts from family members as soon as they arrived saying how great the house was. Large open kitchen/family room. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The bedrooms are large and the setup fit our group perfectly. The Hot Tub, ping pong table, and pool table were great additions, and the upstairs great was a great gathering place for our crew. Jen was awesome to work with and was in touch to make sure we had no questions. We already have plans to rent again next year.

Fantastic getaway

What a great house! We were in town with our Girl Scout group for a few days of hiking, rafting and cycling. Jens home was the perfect home base for all of it. The house was clean, well equipped and spacious. Plenty of bathrooms, bedrooms. The three floors of living space were a great way to ensure that adults could have some downtime while the kids stayed occupied with the pool table/ping pong. The hot tub was the cherry on the cake. The lake was 15 min walk, or a two min car ride down the road. Oh- and a nice large dining table that accommodated all of us at once. Easy check in, easy check out. Fast communication with the host. Clean. Wished we stayed longer! Thank you Jen for having us.

Perfect for the whole family

Now I understand what Vrbo means when they state, "Superhost". Woodland Escape was spotless and equipped with everything that one could possibly need for our stay. Jen was super great with communication before and during our visit The rooms were nicely appointed with comfortable beds (sizes and configurations to fit every age and even a "Pack N' Play") and cute themes. The sofa in the main living area was gigantic and comfortable and a great gathering place. We sat our whole family of 13 comfortably around the table with plenty of room in the middle for lots of food. The hot tub was a nice respite especially on rainy days. We had some great intergenerational ping pong games (we didn't really use the foosball or pool tables but they were there if we had wanted them). There was an extremely helpful informational binder and flyers and books providing information about local history, attractions, and food. Some activities that we enjoyed: A family friendly rafting trip, a rainy day visit to the Butterfly Sanctuary (such a peaceful, lovely, low key, gentle place that was very welcoming -they had a presentation with audience participation suitable for all ages and plenty of crafts for the children), a ride on the railroad in Jim Thorpe, hiking in Hickory Run State Park, a visit to the amazing boulder field, and a trip to the coal mine for the less claustrophobic family members. The lake in the community was beautiful. We didn't get a chance to take out the kayak due to the weather.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing

My family of 5 (all adult children) stayed at this property with another family of 5(all adult children) and another couple. We have been celebrating Thanksgiving in the Poconos at numerous properties for many years, but this place is hands down the best place we ever stayed at. The accommodations and amenities were awesome, the neighborhood was great ( a beautiful walk to the lake) and the communication with the owner was incredible. The three levels really gave everyone the opportunity to be together and to spread out when needed. The table was perfect for our Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen was very well stocked. We had so much fun with all the things to do in the house. There were tons of games to play and we even had an all day tournament with the foosball table, the ping pong table, the pool table and the corn hole game! Lots of fun. The hot tub also got a lot of use. It was very clean and was a nice warm temperature. Lastly, I can't say enough about how wonderful the owner, Jen, was. On Wednesday night before Thanksgiving, we had a problem with one of the shower handles working. She had someone there by 8:00 pm on the night before Thanksgiving! I am embarrassed to say the handle was just very tight. The plumber, who was also very kind, was able to pull it out and get it working. I still can't believe this problem was taken care of so quickly and on the night before Thanksgiving. Jen was very understanding! We made a lot a great memories!

Wonderful family spot

Wonderful

We had a great two night stay here and can highly recommend it! The large dining table was great for all 11 of us to eat together. The kitchen is a bit small but well stocked for cooking a meal here. Loved the big windows, outdoor decks, pool table, ping pong, great hot tub, hot showers, individual thermostat in each room. When the fireplace upstairs is functional that will be the icing on the cake. Great communication from the host. Jim Thorpe is kind of a mess (awful traffic) on fall weekends. Great hiking in this area. Thanks Jen!
