La Petite Bajocasse, charming town house in downtown Bayeux

La Petite Bajocasse is a house of character located in the heart of the beautiful medieval town of Bayeux. It will be the ideal place for your stay with family or friends.
The ground floor consists of a beautiful lounge area with smart TV, a 3-seater sofa and 2 beautiful armchairs, a dining area, a very functional kitchen and a toilet + sink area.
Upstairs are the 2 bedrooms with double beds made for your arrival (a baby cot can be added on request), the shower room with shower, sink, toilet and a dressing area. We provide you with towels, shower gel, shampoo and hairdryer.
On arrival you will find something to refresh and snack.
The cathedral and museums are less than 10 minutes walk away. Bayeux offers all types of shops, many gourmet restaurants and friendly bars and beautiful parks.
A large market is held on Saturday mornings on the large Place Saint Patrice, next to the house.
Bayeux is a city to visit on foot, but you can also hire bicycles, as the cycle path is very extensive in Bayeux and its surroundings.
The D-Day landing beaches, Omaha and Gold Beach, are less than 10 minutes away by car and the city of Caen where you can visit the large Memorial Museum, 20 minutes away.
Other family activities will delight everyone such as the Bayeux Aventures adventure park and the Festyland amusement park in Carpiquet.
You can also walk in the forest of Balleroy, 10 minutes away by car.

We loved our stay at this charming townhome in Bayeux. Stephanie and Peter have done a great job in making this a cozy and quaint space. Location was close to town. Shops and restaurants nearby. We were in town for a short Normandy trip and couldn’t have been happier staying here. So many little details really made this home very comfortable. Would stay here again!

Stephanie and Peter’s house is lovely. Centrally located for exploring, very clean and comfy. I would highly recommend choosing to stay here. As host, Stephanie and Peter were communicative and extremely helpful.

Our stay at La Petite Bajocasse could not have been more perfect! Location was amazing for our trip. We did DDay (self) tour and Mont St Michel, with various stops along the way each day. La Petite Bajocasse is perfectly situated within Bayeux to allow for a short walk to the center of town, with restaurants a plenty (HIGHLY recommend making reservations ahead of time). After arriving, access was easy, communication with Stephanie and Peter were seamless. House was equipped with everything necessary for a quick weekend away or a long term stay. House has such a unique French charm (exposed brick, lovely stone flooring), along with the area, you really feel at home! Can't recommend the hosts and house more!

Out time in Bayeux

We all had a wonderful time at your beautiful home in Bayeux. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed.Thank you so much for leaving us a few groceries; it was such a thoughtful gesture! It made our breakfast the next morning not only easy but also incredibly enjoyable.We had the opportunity to explore numerous spectacular areas, and every moment spent in Bayeux was truly memorable. Your home provided the perfect base for our adventures, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

La Petite Bajocasse is a wonderful house in a perfect location. Peter and Stephanie have made it simply the ideal foundation for whatever plans one has for Normandy and the Bayeux area. For us-- my daughter and I-- it was 2 days of D-Day tours-- which were fantastic-- and then we came back to the house and felt instantly comfortable. One night we drove a short distance to the town center to have pizza (Fred'Au) which was wonderful. Another we had stopped at the Carrefour and had some snacks. On another we would have walked to eat but the restaurant was closed. But no matter-- just hanging out at the house would have been fine too. Coffee terrific-- everything else functioned well. We can't recommend it highly enough and both Stephanie and Peter were responsive and welcoming hosts!!
