It is best to access this incredible property with an all-wheel drive or a four-wheel drive vehicle. The Hiding Place is a modern farmhouse with a fantastic view of the Western Carolina mountains! The home provides close access to the Appalachian Trail, Biltmore House in Asheville, Maggie Valley (Cataloochee skiing), and white water rafting on the Nantahala River. The house has 3 bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, a pack and play for infants, 2 full baths, and a fully equipped kitchen. The Hiding Place is well stocked with linens and towels, washer, dryer, blow dryers, books, toys, and games. You will enjoy the fresh mountain air and scenic views around the fire pit!!

Spectacular Mountain View

This home was everything advertised and more. Very clean and all the amenities you need. Only drawback for us was the drive is steep and loose rocks which did not fair well with our motorcycles. Luckly we were able to park at the bottom and walk up. If you have a car you should be fine.

A Great Place to Rest After Hiking

We were hiking on the Blue Ridge Parkway and staying in this wonderful home. We couldn’t ask for a more peaceful, lovely place to rest. The views of the mountains are wonderful. You are close to Waynesville, NC which is a quaint mountain town that you must visit. If you like the mountains this is the place for you to relax and get away.

Nice getaway rental for visiting Asheville

This vacation rental was above and beyond our expectations! It was very clean and beautifully decorated, had everything we needed, and was not too far to drive into Asheville for a visit downtown and to the Biltmore. The owners truly thought of everything we could possibly need. We had little to no cell coverage or internet, but that was okay for us. They did have DVDs, games, and books available for us.
