About this property
Seattle's Urban Oasis
The Seattle Gaslight Inn was originally built in the early 1900s for Paul Singerman, a prominent Seattle businessman. The home is an excellent example of Craftsman-style architecture, with a wide porch, low-pitched roofline, and overhanging eaves. The interior features rich, dark colors, with oak trim work and paneling. This historic site was granted landmark status by the city of Seattle in 2015.
In addition to our eight guest rooms, our inn has a number of common areas for guests to enjoy. Relax by the oak fireplace in our spacious living room, or enjoy a good book in our library.
Outside, you can take a walk by our koi pond, or enjoy an afternoon swim in our in-ground heated swimming pool, surrounded by a spacious poolside patio and comfortable chaise lounges.
One of Seattle's original Bed and Breakfast hotels, the Inn has been open to the public since 1984. In addition to the guest rooms the Inn is also our personal residence and our home and personal residence.

About the host
Hosted by Ryan Wheatley

The Seattle Gaslight Inn is a family run business with my wife Joelle, myself, our two kids Jacob & Anna, our two cats Tuxie & Neo and our school of Koi fish, Bertha, Cheetah, Spot, Cali, Tiger Ink & Ghost. In addition to our menagerie, my parents Glenn and Barb are often at the Inn with their dog Stella. Stella is a fan favorite amongst the guests and always finds herself at the right place for a quick pet. We love meeting and hosting new people from all over the globe. This house is full of love and warmth, which we want to share with all of our guests. There are truly no strangers at the Seattle Gaslight.
