Why they chose this property

Two bedroom cottage with a railroad floorplan. There are 2 separate bedrooms, a kitchen nook, and living/dining rooms. Eclectic furniture, fans, and window a.c.s will make you feel at home in the tropics. Courtyard views, downtown sounds, and a stray chicken or two!

The savvy traveler can navigate their way to the cottage for just one buck from the airport (ask us how!). We are located 3 short blocks from Main Street and Emancipation Garden. Walk to restaurants and shops on Main Street, the local grocer, or catch the Safari (open-air bus) to Brewer's Beach or Lindberg Bay for just $1. For $2 you can get to Coki and Sapphire Beaches or the bustling east end hub of Red Hook. The narrow streets and alleys of downtown allow for free but limited parking.

What makes this property unique

You will enter the Soursop House through from the main access "straede".

Originally built as rowhouses for workers, this cottage retains much of its early 1900s charm. The early residents each had their own living space and shared a common cook pot and latrine in the courtyard.

The property, still a work in progress, has since been updated and converted into three quaint cottages, each now with their own kitchen, bathroom, and living spaces. You will see the remnants of the original layout of the workers rooms in the design of the cottage.

Reach out if you would like to rent the other one bedroom cottage.
