Home Away From Home

We had a fantastic time at Yellow Palm. Celia made sure we had everything we needed to start our vacation. One thing that really impressed us was how clean the property was. We were also grateful that the property had solar panels with the ongoing power outages. We will certainly be booking here again when we return. Thank you, Celia!

Just like the pictures!

Cecilia was very friendly, when we arrived, she took our bags to the house for us. She made sure to check in with us every few days to ask how we were enjoying our stay and to make sure we were doing okay! Her house was just like the pictures, very clean, smelled great, and also had an amazing view looking down the mountain onto the water! We will definitely come back to visit this beautiful estate!!

The property was exactly as pictured/described. A very well kept, clean and very comfortable home. Cecelia was an amazing host. She had thought of EVERYTHING to make our stay completely worry free. We got lost getting to the property in the dark on our arrival evening, but Cecelia called us when we didn't arrive close to our expected check in and guided us to the front door. The roads are steep and narrow in places but they were not an issue with our rental car. In fact we really appreciated the quiet and relaxing atmosphere the property offered. One of my favorite features of the property was that when we visited in January, we were able to open all the windows and not use the AC. We are looking forward to staying again-hopefully next year!

Wonderful property gracious host!

My family vacation in St Thomas 6 nights/7days. My college student Daughter my teenage son and my 5yr old son. We were greated warmly by our host Cecilia and she maintained communication throughout our stay. The property was clean with a nice mountain view, and well equipped down to beach chairs for a trip to the beach. We got around is by taxi so Cecilia was very helpful in suggesting a driver directing our drivers and even gave us a ride when we ventured out via Safari (dollar van). We overall throughly enjoyed our stay and would be repeat guests!

Wow! From the beginning there was great communication. Any questions I had Cecilia promptly answered them. Upon arrival we were greeted by the host. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for cooking (very well equipped kitchen and even a bbq grill!) and the beach (towels, toys, snorkeling gear, beach chairs). Nice clean bedding and plenty of towels for the whole family (5 people). The place has great WiFi, smart tvs, and great AC in the bedrooms which is a plus! If we go back to St, Thomas we will definitely stay here again ❤️

Beautiful, cozy, peaceful and private little place in St. Thomas!

Our trip to St. Thomas to celebrate our 20th anniversary, we had originally booked a local resort. Changed plans as we wanted a stay that would feel private and give us the freedom to go whichever way the wind was flowing. Came across this unit and the pictures caught my attention, but the reviews made my decision so easy. Let me start by saying that Celia communicated with us from booking, till it was time for our trip, to helping us find the location when we were lost, and through our last day there; extremely hospitable and welcoming. The house is cozy and inviting, impeccably clean, everything we needed was there, even beach chairs and towels. Celia reached out during our stay to check in, if we needed anything, dropped off fresh coconuts - it was such a welcome detail as we were hiding out from taking too much sun :D! If you book this place you really don’t need to worry about too much but your luggage with clothes, anything you’re missing is a 5 minute ride to the store. We recommend renting a vehicle, makes getting around the island much easier; but yes if you book here you need a mode of transportation as is with any place you book in St. Thomas. We felt extremely comfortable here and are planning to return again! Thank you for making our anniversary truly memorable Celia, till next time!

Outstanding host, and the home was chock-full of thoughtful amenities, from Snorkels, Fins and Masks, to Beach Towels and Premium “Tommy Bahama” beach chairs! There was even a second patio with a grill. The view is breathtaking, and the home decor is first class. Thank you Cecilia for all the thoughtful touches!

This is one of the most well stocked and comfortable places we have ever stayed. The house had everything you could need, was spotless, and communication with Cecilia was a breeze. We stayed here for a while while diving in red hook. We would absolutely stay here again.

The property was clean, fully stocked with everything needed, and nicely decorated. Cecilia, the host, is very kind and responsive lady. We got lost on the way from airport to her property and she came to meet us and show the road. Verizon doesn't cover U.S.V.I so travel pass is necessary in addition to monthly plan, so you can navigate with Google maps. The property has a free WiFi so we were able to figure things out upon arrival. The roads are very tricky in St. Thomas, with the opposite lane driving, narrow twisty turns up high on the hills, you have to be a very good driver, especially at night. Also be prepared to parallel park near the house. We highly recommend to rent AWD SUV since it would go up the mountain much easier and save your nerves. Cecilia has everything needed for the beach including lotions and mosquito sprays, but pack your anti-itch ointment because we had plenty of mosquito bites anyway. The only thing was concerning is that living room doesn't have AC and in February it was quite warm in the kitchen and main room. There are 2 ceiling fans and one standing fan there but with Southern exposure of that room leading to balcony you will feel quite a difference in temperature compared to bedrooms, especially in the summer. We had our bedroom doors open and wished it was cooler in the living room. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay and we recommend it to others.

Needed somewhere for a few days. Part of our group had to work remotely & they had great WiFi! It was very hard to find when we arrived but Celia was SO kind! She met us & lead us to the house! Was comfortable, clean & perfect. It also has amazing views!

Fantastic stay!

Cecilia’s place was fantastic. She was quick with communication and the house was clean and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. We had plenty of towels and toiletries. And the beach chairs, coolers and snorkeling gear made our days at the beach easier. We would definitely stay here again!
