This beautiful, one bedroom, one bath condo is ideal for a couple or small family. It has a queen-size bed in the bedroom and a queen size sleeper sofa in the living area and two bunk beds located in the hallway, which are great for children.

Its ground floor location provides easy access to the beach, pool and grill area (no waiting for the elevator). The ceramic tile flooring in the living areas is low maintenance, while the carpet in the bedroom provides comfort.

Step out on to your own private balcony for a beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico and the gorgeous white sand beach. Since this is a ground floor unit, you can easily call family members in from the pool.

Due to the corner location, you can watch the sunrise from the patio. The window in the dining area, also facing east, adds to the spacious feeling of the unit.

The place was great for a couple.Loved the free chairs/umbrella rental at the beach those guys were great have you set up everyday.Small trouble with A/C but was taken care of right away.We enjoyed and will be back.

We loved everything: the view of the beach and gulf, easy access to the beach, conveniently located to everything, the cleanliness, and the easy communication with the owner. Would love to stay here again!

Great Location!

This is a great location! We loved being able to walk right out the door to the beach. The view was amazing. There were plenty of dishes and cookware to use. Also loved being able to have the washer/dryer in the unit, super helpful for a family of 6. The only downside was it wasn’t super baby/toddler proof in the kitchen/living room area (would recommend owners to anchor tv and other furniture if possible). Outside of this, we loved staying here!

OK for price

Decent for the price. There is a tile that has broken pieces that felt like they could pop anytime. Bathroom tile was loose in spots.Parts of celing appeared to have previous water damage. Key pad wouldnt let us in at times. The location is very coveinent and the patio and beach access is nice. Overall decent but definetely needs issues addressed.

Location A+

The location and beach accessibility are what this condo has going for it. The owners were responsive and promptly addressed a repair situation. The condo itself can use updating and some repairs. (The toilet seat is cracked, dishwasher needs attention, etc.). Also, the linens need upgrading. Towels were stained and flimsy, linens were low quality, etc. The decor is cheesy beach decor but again - you are on the beach within 100 steps so great location. I also liked that the building is a small building so parking was right in front of your door. I think the buildings elevator was not working during our stay but we were on first floor so not impacted. The pool is NOT heated. Included beach chairs were nice.

Photos fully represented the condo, but could use a few updates. Bedroom had a very musty smell. Kitchen was fully equipped,lovely patio with a beautiful view! Pool and hot tub were nice.

Family Beach Vacation

We just got back from our family beach trip, our first time in Orange Beach. We had a great time! The condo was very clean, I thought the unit had plenty of plates and cooking pans etc. The owners were quick to respond with any questions. The location was perfect and not having to use the elevators was even better! If I could give one recommendation it would be to replace the mattress in the bedroom & the pull out couch. When sleeping on the pull out couch you could feel the bars through the mattress- super uncomfortable & the bedroom mattress was rock hard. I had to put a twin from one of the bunks onto the bed to even attempt to make it somewhat comfortable. Would love to stay in the unit again if the mattresses were upgraded and replaced. Overall amazing trip!

Good Place to Stay

We stayed 5 nights here. Everything was easy and super clean. The security lady was very helpful and informative. Great access to the beach and having 2 chairs and an umbrella come with the room was an extra bonus that was very nice! The pool wasn’t packed out most of the time either so it was easy to get a lounger when my 4 year old decided he wanted something different from the beach. We also really liked having a first floor condo. I didn’t have to worry about my 4 year old being on the patio, something I never would have allowed if we were up any higher. This was our first time staying at a condo on the beach, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I would recommend bringing a couple of nonstick pans. Metal pans were provided, but we’ve been spoiled with our nonstick ones. I definitely would recommend staying here and will look for them again when we return.

We enjoyed our stay, it was close to the beach and we were on the ground floor. It was also convenient to have a balcony. The only negatives were: hard bed, minimal toilet paper, no body wash or shampoo.

Four Winds

This was a lovely unit on the 1st floor of the resort. It was clean, had a great view of the water, and the owner was very quick with responses to questions. I would not downgrade the review for the following reasons but mention them just as a suggestion for a nice touch. We did not understand how to get the beach chairs until the last day we were there - maybe an explanation would be helpful. However, as soon as we asked we got a prompt reply on how to get the chairs. Also, there was no shampoo, bath soap, and only about a half roll of toilet paper. We had to make a trip to the grocery store. Providing those things would be a nice touch.

My family has been vacationing in the Orange Beach/Gulf shores area since the early 1960s. As a result, my daughter and I have always considered this area our second home. The 'squeaky' white sand beaches have been a major reason for our visits. The gulf is usually calm and the water clear, just perfect for the third generation of our family to grow up vacationing here.

Why they chose this property

We chose Four Winds due to its size and location. It is a low density development, only 36 units, most of them one bedroom units. Therefore, we don't have to fight crowds of people for space on the beach or by the pool. Also, it is close to the restaurants and shopping areas in Orange Beach without being right next to them. Convenient without the noise and traffic.
