Come and discover our little corner of paradise in Bandol! Our Bastide de La Thibandolaise can accommodate a large family, or even two families. It consists of the ground floor of our villa, a large terrace with unobstructed views, a large independent garden and a completely private heated swimming pool with no overlooking neighbors. (Part of the ground floor consists of a small, completely independent apartment whose windows and access do not overlook the garden or living areas reserved for you, guaranteeing total peace and privacy.) You will find 3 air-conditioned bedrooms for 7 people, a large wooden terrace with an unobstructed view and a glimpse of the sea, a beautiful kitchen, and a large air-conditioned living room. The lush, terraced 500m² garden features an 8x4m swimming pool, fully fenced, secluded, and nestled in greenery. You can enjoy your meals on the large wooden terrace or on the paved terrace in front of the house, cooked on the gas griddle in the sun or shade, or simply relax under the fragrant mimosa and pine trees. You'll love enjoying drinks in the garden lounge with a glimpse of the sea. You can park your vehicle for free and without any difficulty in the small square in front of the house or even in the garden entrance. Our villa is located in the Bellevue district, renowned for its tranquility (no traffic or railway noise). Just a short walk along the surrounding streets will captivate you with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea and its ever-changing colours. And in just a few minutes on foot, by bike, or by car, you can easily reach the beaches of Bandol, its lively port, or walks in the forest or along the coastline. Upon arrival, you will find the beds made and towels provided, as well as tea towels in the kitchen and some basic supplies to get your stay off to a good start. You will find an oven, induction hobs, a dishwasher, a Nespresso machine, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, a water and ice maker, a fridge with a proper freezer, and all the necessary crockery for 7 people… - A separate WC - An air-conditioned dining room for family games - An air-conditioned living room - A large terrace with an unobstructed view and a glimpse of the sea where you can enjoy an aperitif or a meal On the ground floor: - A laundry room with a large washing machine and dryer, a large freezer Outside, a A garden of over 500m² with dense vegetation that provides complete privacy: - A large, sunny wooden terrace with a large garden table (extendable to 12 seats) and comfortable garden furniture. From here, you can glimpse the sea through the pine trees. - A large, shaded paved terrace in front of the house with a garden table and a gas griddle for preparing your ribeye steaks or grilled vegetables. - A beautiful 8m x 4m saltwater swimming pool, approximately 1.60m deep, with wide steps for easy access to its crystal-clear water. The pool is secured by a compliant fence all around the deck. From May to September inclusive, the pool is heated to around 27/28°C if necessary. In April and October, it can be booked in advance for an additional fee. - Sun loungers around the pool (6), on the balcony, and several small shaded or sunny spots for your aperitifs, quiet moments of rest, or relaxation. - Some outdoor games: ping-pong table, trampoline, darts… The entire house and a good part of the garden are covered by high-performance Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi 6) from the house's fibre optic box. An 8-minute walk, or 2-minute drive, will take you to an excellent bakery, a supermarket, a Picard frozen food store, a fishmonger, a newsagent/tobacconist, a pharmacy…From the house, you can easily reach the wonderful and famous sandy beach of Renécros, or the beautiful marina of Bandol, its market, shops, and numerous restaurants, lively in all seasons and particularly during the off-season, and finally its casino. Both are a 15-20 minute walk away, or less than 5 minutes by car or bicycle. Nearby, you can also take the coastal path which promises a steep walk along the water's edge, under the maritime pines, to the "submarine," or access the Port d'Alon cove, or enjoy the large beaches of Bandol (Casino, Grand Vallat, Lido). A public pétanque court is located 500m from the house, unless you prefer the very lively one at the port. In 5 minutes by car, you can reach the superb Frégate golf course, which offers courses with incredible sea views. In a few minutes by car, you can visit Sanary, its port and large market, or further inland, stroll through the picturesque villages of Le Castellet and La Cadière d'Azur, taste the great wines of Bandol in magnificent vineyards, or discover the various events at the famous Circuit Paul Ricard (Le Castellet). The Var region is full of fabulous and varied landscapes and activities for all tastes. The house's location allows access by SNCF train (10-minute walk from the station) from Marseille or Toulon (less than 4.5 hours from Paris to Bandol and 3 hours from Lyon to Bandol) or easy access from The motorway. The house is also equipped with an ironing board and iron. And upon request, in advance, we can provide baby equipment. We will be easily reachable to ensure you have a peaceful stay and to suggest good places to eat or suitable activities. Alexandra, who lives a few minutes from the house, will be available to welcome you and make your stay enjoyable. Having fallen in love with this beautiful region, we recently acquired this family home in Bandol. We are putting all our heart and energy into gradually restoring and renovating this property, which we fell in love with at first sight.
