WOULD'VE GIVEN 5 STARS; BUT MORE COURTESY AND COMMUNICATION TO TENNANTS COULD BE BETTER.
I would've given 5 stars, Only thing that I feel could've been handled better was the communication.
A couple days into our vacation, I was out with my wife and family enjoying the day when I received a call from Vacasa stating that there was a plumber at the condo to replace a kitchen faucet. This was my first time hearing about it.
I explained I was not in the condo, and I was never notified about a plumber coming to do any work. I would have made some time out of my vacation to accommodate them.
They wanted the plumber, a total stranger to me to enter the condo without me being present. I explained to them that I have my personal belongings, cash etc. unsecured and would rather be present when the plumber enters. So, he can either come back at a later time that day when I am back at the condo, or reschedule to a time that works for me.
5 minutes later, I get another call, THIS TIME FROM THE PLUMBING COMPANY that the owner acquired, telling me that the plumber is back at the condo and that I need to give him permission to enter. I once again explained that NO ONE , INCLUDING THE OWNER, notified me of any repairs to the unit during my stay. He will have to come back when I'm there.
The plumbing company then said "Well the owner is highly upset and the owner said it is her condo so she can have repairs whenever she wants" I told her to tell the owner, next time, she should communicate with her tennants and maybe she wont be "highly upset". They rescheduled after.
