The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this perfect beach condo! It has everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony overlooking the water, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, a 60-inch smart TV with cable and Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and other networks, an Xbox One, and a Blu-ray player.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Terrible and filthy conditions

The pictures and the positive review of this rental is downright fraudulent- all lies- just stayed there with my family and the conditions of this condo ate horrific- we had an extremely stressful time- dealing with roaches, roach droppings all over kitchen cabinets and drawers, live roaches in refrigerator, filthy carpeting in bedrooms, stained and filthy bedding under sheets- this unit should not be rented- air condition was locked at a certain temperature and the condo was hot and stuffy- just terrible- the worst part is vacasa dud nothing to relocate us to a better condo and offered very little compensation back to us- we were so uncomfortable in this unit we crashed on my in laws couch a few nights during the week at their rental and wound up checking out early. The condition of this unit is terrible- do not trust this listing or vacasa! Still waiting for a manager to get back to me- will be filing a claim with better business bureau and the oc health drosrtnent if I don't hear from them soon giving my family a refund- outrageous!

Decent, but some things could be improved.

Let me first start out by saying that the Golden Sands is a fantastic building that I would recommend to anyone as a whole. As for 2003, it left some things to be desired. ~Pros~ -TV was nice. -Wifi worked well -AC worked well (not always a guarantee in Golden Sands) - Fully stocked with kitchen equipment and utensils -Decorated tastefully ~Cons~ -The unit is updated, but a good amount of items in the unit were damaged. One of the lamps in the living room, a couple cabinets in the kitchen, and the carpet in the front bedroom, just to name a few, were all damaged in some way but it didn’t vastly affect the unit. -Vacasa cleaning needs some work. Multiple “out of immediate view” areas of the condo were honestly flat out dirty, such as the carpets and under the cabinets in the kitchen. -Furniture quality is not great, and the pieces are showing their wear. If you are looking for a place to stay and the price is right, you could definitely do a lot worse than this unit, but I would not be jumping at the chance to rent again. Vacasa’s booking processes and app are all very easy to navigate so definitely no complaints there if you are concerned about that at all. The limited interactions had with Vacasa staff were all pleasant as well.

Needs some tender care.

Overall, nice unit. Flooring in living room was buckling in some areas. Toilet in hallway bath was not correctly mounted to the floor and it was rocking. Bedrooms were nicely furnished. Kitchen needed some organization. Many items scattered in the cabinets.

Not as advertised

This property was not as advertised. The bathrooms were newly renovated as were the hall/kitchen floors. The kitchen was not clean and not renovated cabinets. There was a broken floor lamp and the rugs were very dirty. The main bedroom sheets were old as well. We enjoyed our stay, but we won’t return to this property.
