An ideal home away from home for a family mountain vacation, this spacious Vail house is surrounded by nature in Intermountain with fantastic mountain views! Skiing Vail Mountain is just minutes away! In the warmer months, Vail is known for its incredible hiking trails, offering natural beauty, wildlife sightings, and a chance to breathe in the fresh mountain air. When you don’t feel like cooking, head into the village of Vail and dine at one of the many fantastic restaurants on the main drag. You can also shop at the art galleries, ski shops, and other boutiques.

Enter via the slate stone entryway, looking down into the main living area. All that skiing means lots of calories burnt, so replenish by cooking delicious meals in the open and updated kitchen. It features full-size appliances, granite countertops, and an L-shaped bar with stools. Off the kitchen, a dining table invites you to enjoy meals together as a family or host game night. Warm up after a day on the slopes in the large living area, boasting a 75” TV with cable and Blu-Ray player and a huge comfy sectional. Lots of windows in the living room afford you views of the mountains and the spacious deck outside, where you can grill up your favorite meats and veggies on the gas BBQ.

After a full day of skiing, rest in the main bedroom with a couch, private balcony, and an en suite bathroom with a deep jetted tub. The second bedroom offers a 27” TV, a private balcony, and an en suite bath. Tuck the kids into the third bedroom, featuring a twin-over-double bunk bed and an en suite bath

A private washer/dryer means you can pack light for your trip.

Not a great stay
The property was clean but there was one thermostat for a three story house which meant either the first floor bedrooms were freezing or the top floor bedroom was a sauna. Prior VRBO comment by the manager said this heat issue was fixed but it’s not fixed. We had maintenance people out for the heat and lack of hot water—not what you want to do on vacation. Would not stay again.

Good group ski house
I stayed here with my girlfriend and 3 other couples. Other than a minor hiccup during check-in (which the agency helped answer quickly, even after-hours), we had a flawless stay. It was comfortable, fit us well, and was a convenient ~10min walk downhill to a bus stop. We'd consider staying here again.

No heat on bottom floor, garbage left out, and issues with WiFi
The house itself was awesome and in a great location but we had a few big issues… 1. No heat on the bottom floor that had 2 bedrooms.. thermostat had a sign that said “out of order”. Those two rooms were freezing. They provided space heaters but those aren’t safe to run throughout the night and when you’re not home. We were not notified of this before our stay and when I reached out no one was concerned that we had no heat and just offered to use the space heaters and not fix the actual heat in the house 2. WiFi - they did not provide the correct WiFi information and took 1 1/2 days to get this figured out after called at least 4-5 times 3. Garbage from the previous stay was left outside the garbage bin and I had to be the one to put it in the can and take it out with our garbage

Ambiance is really fantastic. It is really spacious inside and has a lot of natural light. I like that it has a bathroom in each bedroom and even in the living room. There is ample kitchen utensils and plates to use. Washer and dryer were also a great addition. I love this place. Would love to come back here in the winter season.
