Beautiful lake house with 4 bedroom, 9 beds, host up to 16 guests, spacious 1 level, 3500+ sqf , conveniently located minutes from hwy 78 & I-85, Its located 10 mins from the famous stone mountain park. The house located in a quiet neighborhood, pet friendly, and ideal for large group/ family gathering. We are looking forward to welcome and bring you the best home away from home experience during your Atlanta visit."

Please be aware this " LISTING " is for the entire Main floor. We have a totally separate basement apartment thats occupied 50% of the time with their own private entry door. The main floor has all 4 bed bedrooms 2.5 baths , kitchen and 9 beds. Nothing is shared.

Short Stay

We had a very short stay at this property. It was a fine location for Atlanta area. There plenty of beds for everyone to sleep and seating for dinning. Some of the mattresses could be replaced, but there were enough beds to move to another. My only complaint are, the driveway situation is not ideal. It was very steep and the tenant below, or their guests, would park blocking the driveway.

Definitely worth it

I would say, it was worth it. The house was very clean. Looked just like the photos. Even though I think she should take new pictures because the photos on here doesn’t do it any justice. The bed felt good. Clean linens was a plus. We did bring our own paper towels, plates, spoon and forks, and seasonings. Some stuff was already there. Communication with the host was excellent as well. But overall would I recommend to someone else? Yes.

High hopes, big disappointment.

We had high hopes, but were pretty disappointed. The neighborhood is good. But, there were several issues with the property. The dishwasher is broken, we killed live roaches, the place smells like weed probably from downstairs (which is rented by separate guests), parts of the wood floor are missing which is a hazard for young kids, molded Chipotle bowl in the drawer by the stove, we only had 5 total towels for 12 people, bugs on the bedspread, used tooth brushes lying around. Several mattresses felt like boards and were sunk in. Only had two spoons, no forks and plenty of butter knives. Pretty upsetting. Definitely won't be back.

Disappointed

Property did not have adequate kitchen supplies, towels, dressers or night stands. Mice droppings under the kitchen sink. Giant spiders and webs on back and front deck. Microwave and dishwasher did not work. Garbage area was full of garbage when we arrived one day late due to airlines and still lots of garbage after pickup. Beds very uncomfortable. Rec'd text at 10:27 am indicating our guests were still on the property when last guest left at 8:10 am. The half bath smelled terribly, carpet stained. Driveway in very bad condition. Have you seen your property recently? Does not look like photos.

She was disappointed but I wish she had reached out to me to tell me what the problems were. The pictures are accurate. We had since cleaned dry clean carpet in the bedrooms. everywhere else is hardwood. We apologize for any inconvenience and we will deficiently keep making improvements

Family gathering

The rooms where spacious. Kitchen was clean but no cooking utilities or pot. This was fixed by call to owner. Property manager needs to check bathrooms for leaks and kitchen oven and grills before guess arrive as both where dirty. The Property is in a good location and is very roomy. They have to remember this is a vacation rental and certain things should be on hand. Pots, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing soap and hand soap. We lost power due to using a hairdryer. The power box was in the basement of the other property and could not be reached. We did call after searching for the box in the house and garage. Owner did not come out to check until the next day when they delivered new furniture. These were minor issues that could be avoided in the future. Loved the house and amount of room.

Misleading and unfortunate

Booked this home under the impression it was entire property (because that’s how it’s listed.) after I booked my stay I received a message saying how the basement was “totally separate with no access to main floor” and someone else stays there. I over looked it until the first night when all I could hear from 10pm till I finally fell asleep was a tv blaring down stairs and people shouting. This happened every night of my 3 night stay. The house seemed clean when we arrived but slowly started to realize it wasn’t. Gnats flying all over the bathroom. Silverware was dirty in the drawers. The beds weren’t great either but I could’ve lived with that if the pillows were decent.. which they weren’t, either flat as paper or 12 inches thick and hard, btw don’t take the pillow cases off, they were obviously old and stained. I typically don’t leave bad reviews as I stay in vrbo homes almost every week all across the country, but this one really stood out as misleading which bothers me. It also really bothered me that the host messaged and in more words said “if it’s not a 5 star review don’t leave one” Overall the house could have been really great with some more attention to detail while cleaning, some new pillows, and whoever it is down stairs remembering that people are above them. The host seemed easy to get in touch with which is awesome and their check in process went smoothly.

Frat house or Family house

We had high hopes for this property since it was advertised as being friendly for large families. The amount of beds and space were fine but the house was not adequately setup to house a large family. The kitchen is minimally stocked, there are no hand towels or any dish towels in the house, the house did not have a full sized mirror or blow dryer. The pillows on the beds are either very large and hard or flat. Overall the house did not feel very clean. We killed two roaches during the stay. The location is great, bed setup is good for large family, smart tvs in the bedrooms were a plus, and great communication.

nice location and lots of beds

overall a good experience. But, few issues were encountered. One of the showers didn't have hot water, and the issue was not resolved till the end. There were very few utensils and kitchenware. It was a steep uphill drive to the garage.
