(If you request in advance, we can push the two twins together for you to make a king in BR 2 or BR3)

Half Bath: on main level

The entire space was just renovated for 2025 with new flooring, wall paint, art, decor, furniture. The decor creates a pleasant space to relax and hang out. If you need to get some work done, there is a desk with plenty of room to spread out.

Fresh linens and towels are provided for each guest.

The laundry room has machines available for your use. Please bring your own laundry soap.

You will be provided a starter supply of toilet paper and paper towels.

Owner handled communication well. Apartment just as described. We liked being able to drive to many locations downtown in 5 minutes. The neighborhood is quiet.The map provided by VRBO hinted that downtown might be as little as 15 minutes by foot. (That's not a claim the owner made; it's a side effect of VRBO obscuring the exact property location.) The walk is more like 25.

Positives:- the home was very clean- location was quiet and convenient - hosts were responsive and helpfulNegatives:- The beds. The king bed was uneven but serviceable. The bedrooms with two beds each had beds that I would consider small even for children (perhaps I misjudged the photos) and also creaked upon every movement.- Noises. There is a sump pump system as the bedrooms are essentially in a walkout basement. When the downstairs sinks/ showers are run or toilets flushed there is a loud thunk in the bedroom with the large bed.Other notes: the house is a duplex and the back yard is shared, wasn’t an issue for us but wasn’t clear in the listing.

The home is located in Quarry Hills which is an historic area just 1.1 miles east of Downtown proper. The location is great, the people are friendly!

What makes this property unique

The custom dog agility course in the backyard is totally unique to Raleigh. We built it so our foster dogs would have a place to exercise if guests are not there. The doggos vouch for it 100%.
