EXACTLY as photos portray—beautiful property, beautiful view, exceptional owners. The owners were highly responsive and really made our stay special with thoughtful touches (eg teddy bears for our son, s’mores station, champagne and chocolates) and gracious, personal communication. The only drawback was noisy neighbors—partying and verbal fights lasting 2-3 hours in the middle of the night were unfortunate.

Perfect family stay!

Wow, we were not bored! The kids spent tons of time in the pool and hot tub, we enjoyed sports and movies on the big screen, and explored beautiful hikes nearby. This was great for all ages in our party (kids through grandparents) and was an escape from the tourist crowd despite it being spring break season.

Amazing long weekend get away

Franklin and Susan were such kind people to deal with! They left us teddy bears as a gift to our kids, a s’mores kit, a bottle of wine, chocolates, and popcorn. The cabin was spotless. They even included several pool and hot tub towels which I have never had a host provide before. They had provided pool toys as well. The owners were amazing to reach out to. They responded very quickly. They went above and beyond providing extras that we haven’t experienced before. We will definitely be renting this property again.

We had a great time . Our ages are from 7-58. The kids loved being able to swim in December. Everything Was nice and clean . Plenty of space for all 12 of us . Everyone wants to do it again next year .

Perfect retreat

My family and I had just moved out of our house and we needed a recovery time to relax and get away. This was just what we needed. Loved everything about this home. We are from East Tn and the mountains are one of the favorite parts of our beloved home. Being able to enjoy it in such a beautiful home with so much to do was perfect! Now to convince my husband we need a movie room 😉

Amazing House

This house was very beautiful and very clean. Our whole family enjoyed a very relaxing vacation The hosts thought of everything and were very easy to communicate with. Before we arrived there were power outages that effected the pool heater and they had that fixed promptly. We would definitely recommend Franklin and Susan’s home.

Spring Break - Two Happy Families

Our group consisted of two families - 4 adults, three teens and a 9-year old, and each of us loved our stay! The amenities at this cabin are even better than the pictures in the listing. The pool is huge, watching a movie or sports in the theater room is an awesome experience, and the hot tub is relaxing and its room offers beautiful views. The pool table, foosball table, and arcade game were nice and a lot of fun. Our families had plenty of room with ample beds and bedrooms and plenty of places to simply hangout in and outside the cabin. The couches and beds were comfortable as were the patio furniture on the decks and the adirondack chairs by the fire pit. The kitchen was very well-stocked with all utensils needed, multiple coffee makers (including K-cups, a standard drip maker, and a coffee grinder), spices, and lots of nice cups, pans and dishes. The charcoal grill also worked nicely. The owners are very friendly, caring and responsive. On our first night, there was a power outage throughout the area due to abnormally high winds. The owners got notice of the outage, called to check on us and sent someone to bring extra flashlights - very thoughtful! We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning!

Amazing Pool

From right after we booked until after we checked out the owners were in contact with information for us and there to answer any question we may have had. When a question arose they were quick with a reply. The home was absolutely amazing. We checked in on Valentine's Day and when we arrived there was a bottle of wine and a giant balloon which was a beautiful gesture from the owners. The place was beautifully decorated yet very comfortable to be in. Every bedroom had a king size bed with jacuzzi tub, I mean what's not to love. The theater was huge yet you could cuddle on the comfy sofas. The picture on the screen was great and the sound quality made you feel like you were up on the screen yourself. The hot tub in the very top of the house made for amazing views while you relaxed your tired muscles. The best feature of all however was the indoor pool. This was no ordinary pool, it was the largest in house pool I've seen. The water was a tad chilly at first but I solved that problem by using the hot tub first. After the heat of that we welcomed the cooler water. Once you were in it tho it was the perfect temperature. At a full four feet deep in the entire pool the room was warm enough that the part of your body not under water wasn't even cold. The views from the 3 story decks were just as calming as the hot tub. There was nothing that was out of place or needed any work. It was definitely a great 2 days with my husband. We'd love to come back again to finish all the things we didn't get time to do since neither of us wanted to leave the home while we were there. Thank you so much for the wonderful time. This place is definitely worth the money.

We had the best time!! The host was very easy to get a hold of with any questions. They left us goodies for our stay. They arranged for us to have 2 highchairs and a playpen so we didn’t have to bring one. The cabin is so welcoming. It’s home away from home. The kitchen is fully stocked! The property is absolutely beautiful, clean, and exactly as advertised. We had a great time in the pool and we absolutely loved the movie theater (it’s one of the best we’ve seen in any house we’ve rented). The fire pit was also a hit and there are great views from the balconies (all of them). It was also great that every bedroom had a huge bathtub! The location is fantastic too. The National Park and great hikes are literally just minutes away, and Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are just a short drive away.Finally, Susan and Frankin are great hosts! They are communicative and respond quickly to any messages sent and they have left a lot of nice little touches throughout the home. They clearly put a lot of thought into what their guests will need. If you book this place you will not regret it.

A perfect getaway!

We were very pleased with the cabin. It was exactly as described. The indoor pool was a favorite for all, and the theater room paired with a popcorn machine was perfect for a movie night! It was a short drive to Gatlinburg. So, there was not any traffic in Cosby. Communication with the hosts was exceptional.

This property was everything and more for us! Small gestures from the hosts and the responsiveness made the experience PERFECT. The pool was well kept and a perfect size, plus toys for all the kids. The movie theater was such a fun thing to close the nights with, especially with the authentic popcorn maker. The multicade kept us adults busy besting the high scores, and the pool table gave us plenty of laughs at how terrible we all were. Every little detail was handled by the hosts, and everything we needed was available on the property! If you do need groceries or firewood, check out Donna Jo's. I was genuinely impressed at the food selection. In summary, we will be back to this property! If you are on the fence, go ahead and book!
