Modern Home in Historic Old Bisbee

The Shackleton home is a modern house in the center of Old Bisbee .The living room has high ceiling and real wood-burning fireplace. Beautiful patio accessed from living room through 12' opening bi-fold doors.The two bedrooms have French doors opening to the patio so when everything is open, outside and inside seem to merge. Bedrooms and bathrooms are in two separate wings of house that affords extra privacy when two couples are staying. The view from the patio is towards downtown and looks directly at the mountains, particularly the iconic 'B' mountain which is straight ahead. Downtown is a 5min walk, max. There are about 12 gentle wide steps to the property. There is off street parking for two compact cars.
The house is built of Rastra and the walls are 11” thick which offers good insulation; AC in both bedrooms only. Each bedroom has its own bathroom close by.
The town has good restaurants and bars in short walking distance from house in both directions, about 200 yards, 5 min walk. Food store High Desert Market just a few minutes walk away.

House particularly affordable extra charges are: cleaning fee ($60) & pet fee ($30). No damage deposit,

Two day minimum apart from holidays when it is 3. Holidays: New Year, Easter, Memorial day, Pride weekend, 4th July, Labour day, Stair-climb, Halloween, Side Pony music Event, Thanksgiving and Christmas

Wonderful home in Bisbee! My husband and I enjoyed the walkability and the hot tub to relax in after coming back up the hill. The patio area is lovely; I was out there every morning and evening. Comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Cedric is a great host - no lists of rules - just helpful signs for locking doors and windows. I hope to return!

This is a lovely modern home conveniently located to the historic center of old Bisbee.

The property has everything you require for a perfect weekend in Bisbee. The host, Cedric, is very responsive. It is an easy walk to everything you need - yet far enough from the noise for a relaxing get-away.

Beautiful and cozy stay

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the home in Bisbee. It is close to downtown and convenient walk for dinner. The house was decorated with cool art, had a comfortable bed and bedding, kitchen was stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub and views. Had some trouble getting certain TV stations on the starlight TV, but were able to watch movies on Amazon prime and logged into our Verizon account for ESPN. We would definitely come back here for another stay!

Quaint, charming immaculate Bisbee home!

This home was very clean, very charming, had everything you could need,kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could think of! The view from the bifold sliding doors was amazing! Definitely will stay again ! Our host was great! And was very accommodating! Super host!!! Loved the quaint town of Bisbee.

Cozy Bisbee Rental

We arrived after dark and found the home easily. The home is exacting as it was explained in the Homeaway website. The house is tastefully decorated. It was an easy walk into town and back. Bisbee is a cute mountain town to explore and relax. Cedric, thank you for being such a wonderful host. We loved your home.

Simply perfect!

Our group of four stayed over the long holiday weekend and found this vacation rental simply perfect. Mr. Shackleton has put quite a bit of thought into the details of this dwelling in order to make it feel like home. The location could not be better giving almost immediate access to the Old Historic Bisbee downtown area and all the charm that offers! The house itself was skillfully prepared to offer a variety of satisfying amenities from the gorgeous morning sunrise views to the soothing hot tub after days of trekking up and down through the hills, side streets, and nearby haunts! The layout of the house itself ensures privacy for the guests as well as very comfortable common areas for relaxing and enjoying this special little town! Our group cannot wait to return and we will definitely make a serious effort to stay at this location!

This lovely house provided a comfortable and secure place to stay while exploring Bisbee and it surrounds. There are all the amenities needed to be comfortable. Finding both an electric kettle and a teapot was great for me! One added bonus was the hummingbird feeder which provided endless entertainment. Having the bedrooms at either end of the house made for comfortable, quiet sleeping. The morning sun and evening moon appearing through the large glass doors was wonderful. The outdoor patio provided a great place to sit while enjoying the view.

My Welsh grandfather was a miner in region and I fell in-love with town when I first visited in 1980. I've had vacation homes in this town for 40 years and love it because of it history, weather and physical beauty. The town is nestled in a valley of the Mule mountains. It's a liberal oasis in a generally conservative area

What makes this property unique

My house special as it is recently constructed while following classic design and features. It is in middle of town. Great area for biking, hiking, birding, hanging out in local restaurants and bars. Enjoy the artist galleries. Bisbee is the friendliest of towns with active social scene.
