You can also visit the Hanbury botanical gardens or the prehistoric artefacts of the Balzi Rossi at Grimaldi (museum). For those who enjoy hiking or cycling, the longest coastal path in Europe awaits near San Lorenzo. Following an old railway line, directly by the sea with a wonderful view that you don't have from the normal road, the path leads to Ospedaletti. Triora, the witches' village with its extraordinary museum, is 36 kilometres away. The impressive caves of Toirano are around 69 kilometres away. The characteristic medieval village of Dolceacqua with its famous stone bridge and the remains of the Doria castle above the town are 46 km away.
