***HAWAII STATE LAWS governing short-term rental properties: In order to comply with the Honolulu vacation rental rules (Honolulu and County Ordinance 19-18, Bill 89), our property is available for month to month occupancy with a minimum 30 day stay. This means that our unit will be blocked for a total of 30 consecutive days surrounding your agreed upon occupancy dates. Maximum length of stay is six (6) months. Please check the booking calendar for availability. The calendar only accepts reservations up to six (6) months out. Please contact host if your booking is outside the accepted dates.
Please note that due to Hawaii's strict regulations on rentals less than 180 days, for any stay less than 180 days we can not permit overnight or turnover of guests other than those on the original booking. ***
Nicely renovated and tastefully furnished with comfortable furnishings and full-size appliances. This 2br/1.5ba private rear-property unit boasts a spacious, fully-stocked kitchen, living room and dining room, bathroom with a walk-in shower, half bath/laundry room with washer/dryer, a quaint office nook and a comfortable queen bed in each bedroom. There are ceiling fans in every room for enhancing those tropical trade wind breezes on warmer days. Outside, enjoy the ocean breeze while sipping your morning coffee or evening beverage on the upgraded composite deck overlooking the bay. You will immediately notice the lush green beauty that the windward side climate has to offer.
This is the perfect place for an extended stay on Hawaii, the newly arriving military member wanting to take their time finding that perfect long-term rental or home purchase, or even medical and business professionals on contract in Hawaii.
A starter kit with Hawaiian coffee, sugar/creamer, local fruit and Hawaiian cookies will be waiting for you in the fully outfitted kitchen. A Keurig, drip pot and French press are provided for your coffee needs. We have everything you need for those home cooked meals whether on the stove, grill, or in the crock pot for after those long work days or long days exploring the island. This is a turn-key unit stocked with all of the essentials of extended living: towels and linens, 52" Fire TV with free WiFi ready for your log-in to stream all of your favorite shows, beach towels, beach chairs and cooler, reusable shopping bags, and cleaning supplies. You will be provided with a starter kit of toilet paper and paper towels, dishwasher, dish and hand soap, laundry detergent and dryer sheets, and shampoo and conditioner for your convenience.
Centrally located to all that Oahu has to offer, we are just 3 short miles to the world famous Kailua and Lanikai beaches and Kailua town. Honolulu and the beautiful beaches of Waikiki are just a 30 minute drive over the H3, Pali or Likelike highways as is the historic Pearl Harbor Memorial and Museum. The North Shore is a 25 mile scenic drive along the Kamehameha highway passing the Macadamia Nut Farm, Kualoa Ranch where such movies at Jurassic Park and King Kong were filmed, Giovanni's Shrimp Truck and Matsimoto's Shave Ice. There are also many picturesque hiking trails with panoramic views of the bay, Kailua and Kaneohe just minutes away.
This is a gated property and the unit has its own private entrance and attached carport with free off-street parking for one vehicle. There is keyless entry in the event we are not able to greet you upon arrival. Upon check-in you will be provided with a driveway gate remote (there is a fee for lost, stolen or damaged remotes).
As your on-site hosts, we are here to offer you suggestions for those must-see places and many local restaurants. As we live on property, we are always available to address any concerns immediately. We do have two large dogs on property. They are friendly to adults but not other animals. For the safety of guests and their pets, we do not accept any animals on property. No exceptions.

Aloha! My husband and I have been living on the beautiful island of Oahu since 2011. The military brought my husband to Oahu on and off for many years, while I would come to visit family here from the time I was a teenager. We love everything the islands have to offer and enjoy the slow pace of island living. In our spare time we can be found doing just about everything on the water as well as spending time with friends.
Why they chose this property
Over the years, we have renovated our home to include our rental unit. We offer a private entrance at the rear of the property with its own private carport. The unit offers it's own indoor laundry room - a rarity in Hawaii. We've stocked the unit with everything you'd need for your home away from home. Just bring your suitcase. Being on a small island, we are close to everything Oahu has to offer. We'd love for you to share the beautiful views of Kaneohe Bay from our forever home. There's magic that the bay brings to each day!

It's the perfect place for your extended stay as you acclimate to the island and all that island life has to offer.
