Our stay at this property was exactly what we were looking for and we had a fantastic time! It had everything you could need for a stay and the owner's instructions and local guidance was much appreciated and well thought out. We loved the ability to hike on the property without having to go to public land with other people and had great views of wildlife while sitting on the porch. We would certainly book again when we are back in the area!
The property was great. Minor issue when we arrived but Brian was very responsive and resolved our issue. The kitchen is well stocked with pans and dishes that allowed us to do a lot of cooking.
Overall, we loved this house! Well-stocked kitchen with quality cookware, comfortable beds, and plenty of bathrooms. The location is peaceful and quiet.
We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We didn’t have cell reception, but the WiFi worked great and we knew about the no reception in the information that was provided. It snowed while there, but the road to house was always bladed, I would definitely recommend 4x4 in winter months. We would definitely stay there again.
We enjoyed our stay while visiting Idaho springs for our nieces wedding. Your home is beautiful and welcoming!! Clean and well appointed. Wish we had been able to stay longer.
This home is great. Lots of room. Very clean. The kitchen is my dream kitchen. Very well stocked with everything you need to fix meals. Plenty of space to sit and watch TV or play a game. It has a nice fireplace to give it more of a cozy atmosphere. The beds a very comfortable. Overall we would love to stay here again!
This property worked perfectly as a retreat location for our church leadership team. The house was clean and very comfortable and communication was simple and straightforward. The location was extremely private and provided a great setting for quiet reflection. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!
The moment you walk in, the pictures don’t do it justice. A very pretty well furnished home. Brian was easy to get a hold of and answered question we had. We had to cut our stay short because of the MAJOR snow storm that was coming in Wednesday afternoon and Thursday all day. We would definitely stay there again.
Had a great getaway. House was great, but is off the beating path. We travelled around the area and enjoyed all kinds of outdoor activities. Phone service is sparse, internet useable, but slow. However, we enjoyed the much needed slower pace. Nice rooms and bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen for cooking.
Property and house are both amazing!! We were able to hike on the property back to a waterfall area which was gorgeous. You do not have cell reception outside of the house (house had WiFi) but it’s nice to be able to disconnect from phones (especially when you have a teenage daughter!).
Brian was easy to get ahold of if we had any questions and responded. Would highly recommend this property to anyone!
Beautiful home with hills surrounding. Deck is great for stargazing and there’s a nice trail to explore the area. Home had everything you’d need. There is zero cell service but internet was pretty good. TV has cable but no streaming services to log into. Reminder to future guests to make sure and deactivate the alarm quickly once you enter. I titled this luxury mountain home as most of the rental homes in the area are outdated. This house looked very nice inside and out. Overall a great stay!
I booked the location for myself, my wife and my teenage daughter. My sister, Father and his wife joined us. We had a wonderful time and the house, amenities and views were wonderful.
If I had any critique it would be to possibly put together a quick sheet on how to work the TV, Direct TV and the DVD player. It took us about 2-3 days to figure out some of the settings to simply watch a movie together.
All and all, we had a great time and would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a beautiful mountain retreat.

This is a beautiful home in a beautiful location! It offered everything we needed for our stay and had ample space and bathrooms for us. Brian was super responsive whenever we had a question as well. When you visit, be sure to screenshot all pertinent codes and check in info to get into the house, as we did not have signal to retrieve the info when we arrived…Brian DID include this in his directions , but I missed it so it is noteworthy. Very simple when you follow his great directions! Wifi available once you are inside! We highly recommend and look forward to staying again!!
My husband, friends, and I stayed here while in the area for a wedding at Echo Mountain. The house was perfect for our group of 6 but could accommodate many more comfortably (we didn’t use the upper floor). The house is very secluded with no cell service but WiFi worked great. It’s on a large property with a hiking trail to a beautiful creek. I loved that there were 4 bathrooms for the 4 bedrooms - this is very rare. We would definitely rent this house again.
Property was as described. We went for a ski trip and everyone enjoyed the property when we returned from the ski resort. I did a little hike around the property and it was very relaxing and quiet. The covered parking at the back door was a nice added feature. We had a 4x4 and an AWD. If you go during the winter make sure you have one also. We got a lot of snow so getting to the house you need one. Again great place with lots of room for family and friends. One more thing is that we got to see a moose on our way up 103 that we got pictures of while we stopped in the road as it was crossing the highway.
We chose this home because it was located in a central location so we could plan daily excursions to Vail, Frisco, Breckenridge, Idaho Springs and Denver. The host was excellent! We had a couple of questions and he got right back to us. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for our part of six. The beds were so comfortable. We had a blessed Christmas with my daughter’s family and two granddaughters. Ready to come back.
