Palm Vista is a beautiful
island style villa situated 500 feet above sea level on the boundary of the national park. This is one of the very few villas on St John that offer both sunrise & sunset views! Plus, Luxury Retreats International has rated Palm Vista as "1 of the top 10 view villas in the world"!

The 180 degree panoramic views are unparalleled on the south shore; providing views all the way to Ram Head with sunrises in the east, looking south into Reef Bay, Fish Bay and Rendezvous Bay, and to the west for great sunsets.* The site gives you the ultimate in privacy, yet you are close enough to hear the gentle sounds of the surf below. Plus, the national park is right next door providing easy access to hiking.

The villa is equipped with Solar panels & Tesla power walls which automatically engages to provide electricity during power outages.

The villa is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival and the pool is also professionally cleaned once a week.

The vaulted ceiling Great Room constructed of native stone walls and travertine marble floors, has 20' wide sliding glass doors to the south providing a great ocean view with screens for you to enjoy the cooling trade winds. The French doors to the east provide additional ocean and pool views. The large sectional couch provides comfortable seating and the new Samsung 46" flat panel Smart TV is connected to DISH satellite as well as the internet. New comfortable bar stools were added in 2026; perfect for entertaining.

Each of the three air conditioned bedrooms have their own ensuite luxury bath, with custom Walter Zanger tiled vanities trimmed in mahogany. Plenty of shelving for easy living, plus large travertine showers. Each bedroom has Smart TV's as well as wonderful ocean views!

The main level has a large Veranda which wraps around the south and east of the home, covered in coral tile and amply furnished for relaxing and dining. The views from the veranda are too good to describe - this is where you will spend your time, enjoying the cooling trade winds. The veranda flows to the pool deck, also covered in beautiful natural coral stone.

The pool deck has Frontgate chaise lounges.

Palm Vista was completed with loving care as you will see, from the hand made pottery light fixtures, the detailed tile work, the beamed ceilings to the star fish adorned bulkheads, no detail was spared. Come and experience the paradise of Palm Vista!

Rent from 2 to 3 bedrooms; priced accordingly. two bedroom rental guests can choose from the 2 King bedrooms or the Queen bedroom on the main floor with ensuite bath & one of the 2nd & 3rd King bedrooms on the garden level, each with their own ensuite baths. Rates are based upon double occupancy; up to 4 guests = 2 bedrooms, 5-6 guests = 3 bedrooms. If you have a total of 4 guests, you can pay an additional fee if you desire the 3rd bedroom. If you rent less than 3 bedrooms, the un-rented bedrooms are locked out and never rented to a different party. If you have a need for a 4th bedroom, you can rent the Guest Suite on the property next door; contact owner for availability and more details.

For children age 8 & under a child liability waiver and additional refundable damage deposit is required.

The owner is not responsible for any booking and or computer errors made by VRBO.

A rental car will be required for your stay. 2 or 4 door 4WD Wrangler is recommended; not because you will use 4WD, but Jeeps sit higher off the ground making maneuvering the hills and turns on St John easier. Road/construction: in 2022 work is underway to bury the utility lines on the major roadways. This may cause some slight traffic delays. Also, sometime in 2022 or 2023 construction of a new home is scheduled to occur nearby toward the end of Skytop road.

*Note: Because of Solstice the sunset views will vary over the course of the year; the best sunsets occur in high season where you see the sun ball drop right into the ocean.
