Welcome to the Toasted Marshmallow!

This is right where you want to be, in this private cozy cabin in the woods. Enjoy the hot tub and the near by trails on snowmobiles or side by side/ atv. Hiking trails are just nearby too! We are apart of Lakes of the North association (L.O.N.). So you can have access to the club house pool and amenities for an addition fee. This Cabin can accommodate up to 5 people. With 2, full size beds and a twin size bed in the bedroom. We offer WiFi connection and the living room has a smart TV to enjoy all your favorite shows/movies. It has a full bath, full kitchen and dining bar space. Pets are also welcomed for a small fee. Variety of local restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores are within a 10 minute drive.

Northern Michigan is known for its beautiful seasons! Summers on Torch Lake, a 45 minute drive. Cherry Festival and Movie lovers will enjoy all the festivities in Traverse City during the summertime which is less than an hour drive. Stop and visit Bellaire and Alden for craft beer at Shorts Brewery and nicknack shopping, 20 minutes away. Great snowmobiling with trails leading to Gaylord, Wolverine and even up to the Mackinaw Island Bridge! With ski/snowboard hills just around the corner at Shanty Creek and Schuss Mountain in Bellaire or Tree tops in Gaylord! They offer golf courses as well.

Cozy cabin

My boys (9&10) and I had an awesome weekend at the Toasted Marshmallow. It was clean and cozy. The hot tub was the perfect way to end each day. The clubhouse pool was a ton of fun. Would definitely recommend!!

Absolutely amazing!

The Toasted Marshmallow is the cutest, coziest little cabin! The place was super clean and we couldn’t have asked for a better host. Our host Jamie was amazing, any questions or concerns we had she responded immediately. I was super appreciative of the maps with this listing showing where the seasonal road was located. We overall were extremely happy and plan on returning for another adventure.

Cozy relaxing cabin in the woods

So fun! Hot tub was perfect, love the privacy curtain on the deck. Great expansive wooded property. Beds were so comfy, furniture and kitchen beautiful and well stocked. Smart TV worked perfect for the kids and their gaming systems. Area was nice, clubhoise pool was fun for the family with a waterslide. Took a trip to Shush and Bellaire. Great little area with nice drives and shopping. We would love to come back!

Anniversary Weekend

Very cozy cabin!

This property is very well maintained. So clean and well stocked with everything you could need. The beds are so comfortable. Very quiet inside the cabin, even if it is noisy outside.

Hi! We're Jamie and Jon!

We are natives to the area and love Northern Michigan. Both being born and raised here, we are no strangers to what the local area has to offer. From hidden gems to well advertised events. We enjoy cooking meals together with family and friends. Taking out the snowmobiles for a ride to spending timeless days on Torch Lake enjoying the water and sun. Jon enjoys Dirt-biking when he can and Jamie enjoys going out on long hikes. Together, we love the four seasons that Northern Michigan has to offer and making memories.

Why they chose this property

So why the Toasted Marshmallow? First off, its perfectly located to do anything regardless if you enjoy the outdoors or not. Shopping and entertainment can be about 25 minutes away, snowmobile trails are less than 2 minutes away, hiking is just outside your door. We offer our guest variety and space. Secondly, you can share your vacation experience with your fur-babies as we allow up to two well manners puppies.
