Booked this place last minute for NYE and I dont regret it. The view from the place is amazing. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout the stay. Totally recommend it.

This property had beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed the pool so much! There were floats already blown up for us which was nice. It was a gorgeous setting. This house was well stocked and had such an abundance of towels! Loved that! Only critique is that the cleaners missed some cans, bottles & other minor trash in the flower beds & around the pool. We disposed of them. Some of that could have blown in as the winds really blew things around on the porches. We also enjoyed the ping pong table & the games. Rooms were comfy, AC worked great and they had extra fans all over the place.

Great Get-away

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The view is amazing, kitchen well-equipped, nice pool and home is clean and spacious. It was a great place for our family to get away from our everyday hustle and bustle, relax and reconnect. Will certainly do it again soon.

Every thing was great except for the cleanliness of the house when we arrived. We had to spend the first couple of hours cleaning/ disinfecting multiple rooms. Also, all trash bins were full when we arrived & they were never emptied so we had no where to throw out the trash.

Peaceful Hill Country Gem

We wanted a relaxing getaway for a long weekend where we could take in fantastic views while still having easy access to restaurants and even downtown. This property was perfect for our needs! The dining room with picturesque views of Lake Travis was a great place to work remote before starting our Vacay. The home has four separate bedrooms (one in a detached pool house) with comfy beds and linens. The kitchen is stocked with cookware and dishware so if you stop at the nearby HEB you don’t have to leave. We loved the heated pool and the convenience of smart TVs in the common areas and bedrooms where we could log in and watch our own streaming services. Highly recommend! Book with confidence!

Great house and property

The view from the property is gorgeous. Pool was amazing. The house was clean and very well stocked. We grilled, had drinks on the patio, and spent a lot of time at the pool. We had groceries delivered and it worked out great. We had everything we needed at the house and then some, and were very comfortable. There were a lot of extras-shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrush/toothpaste, shaving cream, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee etc. They had a cute little welcome package on the counter when we arrived. Avant stay was very responsive in helping with any questions we had. The only issue we had was that the hot tub did not seem to heat. It was hot enough outside that it didn’t matter during the day but if you are there in colder months I would double check that. Great house and stay!

Frustrated

We have learned not to stay at VRBOs that are run by a company. This one claims to have a hot tub, but I got a notice 24hours before and was told it wasn’t working. This is why we were willing to pay a little bit more. When we got to the house the hot tub was green and seemed to have been broken for a long time. Before we were told about the hot tub I canceled our late check out and explained that we wouldn’t be bringing our pets. After I was told about the hot tub they offered to reimburse for the late checkout that I had already canceled. Then I got two reminders to pay the pet fee. They called at one point and said that they would make it right after we checked out. I reached out at checkout and got offered reimbursement for a late checkout again. It’s frustrating when you don’t feel heard and you don’t get what you pay for.

Awful. Terrible failure - waste of our vacation time.

Frankly this was the worst home rental experience I've had. I'm not prone to hyperbole but it was awful. The management company knew the pool wasn't functional before we arrived and failed to tell us. It was disgustingly dirty. I spent an hour skimming the leaves from the pool only to find caked algae on the bottom of it. There were safety hazards - exposed ports for the pool that would have easily been tripping hazards. I spent a lot of time on the phone with the management team trying to figure out what was wrong with the pool and they knew it wasn't functional and didn't tell me. There was a lot of shabby furniture. There was trash on the premises. Railings are falling apart. It wasn't terribly clean. We stayed one night because we had to but immediately left. AvantStay failed us big time.

No heat, hot tub doesn’t work

Our stay in this house was a nightmare. We stayed there over the 3 day stretch of below freezing temps and there was no heat on the first floor of the house. The rental company promptly dropped off space heaters, but we couldn’t have more than 1 running without blowing a fuse. The temperature INSIDE the house did not go above 51 degrees. The iPad given to control the pool/hot tub did not work. I informed the company on day 2 that the hot tub wouldn’t heat and they told me to call a local company to figure it out. On our last day (9 days later), someone from the pool company finally came and turned the hot tub on. The jets ran continuously and we were unable to control it as the iPad didn’t work. The rental company then tried to charge us for the jets being left on. They also tried to charge me for a broken pool chair. There was a significant pest problem in the house. We found a dead lizard on the dining room rug upon entering. There was an ant infestation inside of the shower and the bathtub. We had to clean them out of the tub before bathing our toddler. It was disgusting. Several of the comforters were stained with large brown stains. I swapped them out with some of the extras and the rental company blamed me for the stains. This house has great views but if you are looking for basic necessities such as HVAC, cleanliness or lack of critter infestation, i would look elsewhere. Furthermore, you will be blamed and charged for the shortcomings of the property.
