Wonderful Stay

My wife and I really enjoyed staying at this property, especially the location and that view! Our hotel cancelled our booking because of unexpected renovations and this property did not disappoint. All of the amenities were just what we were looking for and the price wasn't that much more. We will definitely consider coming back!

Beautiful condo! I would have given a 5 star but the master bedroom curtains didn't work properly and were ripped and the balcony chairs were thread bare. Otherwise it was very nice.

Wonderful views, great place to stay

The condo was exactly what we were looking for—unimpeded views of the ocean, neatly appointed, usable and appropriately stocked kitchen, pool access. We were not disappointed. The check-in process was smooth, online parking pass process was smooth and after hours check-out was as easy as dropping off a gym key. We hope to be back in the future.

Great location, incredible view

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view from the balcony on this unit is amazing, you can sit out there for hours enjoying coffee or cocktails. We loved the fact there were many restaurants and shops nearby, were able to walk pretty much everywhere with little need to drive. Lots of codes and security to move around the facility, can be a bit annoying but the upside is not having anyone wandering around that does not belong. I would definitely stay here again.

The location of the property was amazing.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. We had a couple of problems but staff was quick to fix them. The wind was ridiculous so the front door had a very loud whistling sound all night. The couch pullout bed was broken but they did bring a rollaway. It was in the middle of the living room and very small for two people to sleep comfortably but we made it work. The view was amazing. I would stay at this property again.

Beach vacation.

We enjoyed our stay there with beautiful beach views. Although the property had all the amenities that were needed and the place was clean and very satisfying, the pictures on the web site of the inside of the condo were completely different from the actual condo. I emailed the owner and was told this was due to renovations. I would definitely come back here, but feel a little deceived by the online pictures not being current or true.

Fantastic Unit -- Great week!

This is our 3rd time to stay at Emerald Isle and we were very happy with this unit. Plus points: Bed was very comfortable, especially if you need a bit firmer mattress. Barstool high table and chairs on the balcony were great, so we weren't sitting starting at the railing. Plenty of dishes, pots, pans, etc. A couple of things (not a criticism, just know before you go) to stock up on or pack in your luggage: Extra paper goods (napkins, more trash bags, foil, saran wrap, pot holders, beach towels, fabric softener sheets and small container of laundry soap as we washed towels several times). Hopefully the Blues will be back next year, but regardless, we had a wonderful week!

beautiful view

beautiful view and very comfy bed to sleep on. Master bed is very high, even for my 6' height. Nice to have ice upon arrival. Ice dispenser doesn't always stop dispensing and you may need to open freezer. Had some beach toys if you need them. Beach and pools were lovely. Suggest bringing games for rainy days. Unit has 3 TVs and nice selection of DVDs, but no games. Codes for parking lot, pedestrian gate from beach and the road, and the front door access rarely, if ever worked. That was a consistant complaint from all the visitors, not just this unit. Front door to unit code however always worked.

Nice but not the nicest.

Usually I never have an issue this time a little different. Nothing major but the price I paid I feel things should have been a little nicer. This time the condo I originally booked got switched without my permission and I just happened to catch it(thankfully in time) and they did correct it and even upgraded me to a 3bedroom. So the staff are awesome and very helpful! The condo was nice with beautiful views but it needs some work. Walls were scuffed up and dirty, shower curtain in the master was moldy, bed in single guest room was very wobbly my son was nervous he was going to break it and the poor couch all ripped on the back and had a slight smell, so we didn’t really sit on it. Like I said beautiful views just needs some paint and some upgrades.

Yearly beach trip

Each year we come to Pensacola and we stay at Emerald Isle although this is the first time in this particular condo. I have to say of the ones we have stayed in this was our least favorite. Although it was comfortable and well furnished, the kitchen appliances need updated. They look to be from the 90's and the fridge ice and water sometimes wouldn't stop coming out. We are used to the condos we stay in having some amount of things in the cabinets such as salt and pepper or extra trash bags or paper towels. There was literally nothing. The glass door in the master bedroom that goes to the balcony was broken. My husband tried to open it and finally did but then spent an hour trying to get it fully closed. The master bed had a quality mattress on it but the bed is pretty high off the floor. I am 5feet 6inches and I have moderate back problems and my husband literally had to help me in the bed every night. I wasn't able to get into the bed on my own. I can see this being a serious issue for a lot of people who have mobilty issues and such. The view from this condo is fabulous and the included beach service is always very appreciated. We did enjoy our stay and will be back to Emeral Isle but will probably not book this particular condo again.

Very displeased

We chose this property due to its view and layout to spend our wedding night and a couple of extra nights here.. No one explained we had to check in at the Beach Club, so I was a bit lost on how to get in the property. As we arrived, we found the place to be very dirty. The floors were gross, the table and shower both had hair on them, the furniture wasn't dusted, there are water leaks coming out of the vent in main living area, hole in the wall in the master bathroom, handprints on TV and doors, nasty microwave, stains on curtains that even someone complained about before, still haven't been taken care of! This place wasn't cheap, and while I am trying to get ready for my wedding day, I have people coming in to clean around us, which should have been done! Very stressful!! The property responded immediately but overall, just not what you want to be dealing with. We were never allowed to choose the setting of our air. I am 50 with horrible hot flashes, and every time I would turn the air to about 67, it would be turned back up. A maintenance guy came to repair the bathroom and threw some spackle on it never to return. The property management was supposed to call my husband Monday to discuss the repair and didn't. I HATE leaving a bad review, but I hate even worse that I spent 1/2 my wedding day trying to get this condo clean. My day should have gone perfect and this was a far from perfect situation.

Staying on the 17th floor requires you to know 3 sets of pass codes. The elevator, main entrance to the building and getting back in from the beach and then the back entrance, and you also have a separate code for your condo. We did not like the fact that we had to keep our phone or a paper with everything written down. The bathroom sink had no need cleaned and had the previous party’s toothpaste all over it. We had to put the toilet chain back in every time we flushed. One of the burners on the stove did not work. BRING your own blankets, the ones provided are extremely thin. The hot sleeps slept hot unless we dropped the temp and then the other slept cold. There are only 2 elevators and one of them was constantly broken, which made for long waits. Only send 1 question at a time to the host, only one would be answered if several were asked. We spoke with others while we were there and they even said they would not be returning. We will not either.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize that your stay fell short of expectations. The cleanliness issues, maintenance problems with the toilet and stove burner, and the complexity of access codes are all concerns we take seriously and will address immediately with our team. We hear you on the thin blankets and temperature control challenges—these are valuable points for improvement. We also appreciate you noting the elevator situation, which impacts everyone's experience. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide you with an improved and memorable beach getaway experience.

Location, Beach access and umbrella chairs were what brought us here. The cleanliness and amenities will bring us back.
